𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 [𝔯. 𝔟]

𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?

It was September first of 1972 when James Potter said goodbye to his parents on platforms 9 and 3/4 for the second year in a row. 

Everything was the same as the year before, though the only difference was that James wasn't alone. The incredibly strong pressure on his left hand reminded him of that. He looked down only to see the same dark brown messy hair and a pair of dark eyes looking straight at him, defying him to let her hand go. But he knew he could never even dare to think about that, or he would be a dead man.

"Keep holding it that strong and you may not have a hand to hold on next year" he said as he held it tighter. The platform was full of people, and they were significantly short, she more than him. So he was a little afraid to lose her in the middle of that crowd. 

"I just don't want you to drop me in the first bin you find and leave me to find those idiots you call friends" she answered back. James grinned.

"Those idiots I call friends want to be your friends too. Does that mean you're an idiot too?" he asked. Both climbed up the stairs that lead to the train and they sighed when the machine started to finally move. 

"Sure, but I'll be the queen of idiots" she said. 

That's why James preferred to be with her sister instead of with some other people. She was the same type of person he was, and even tho that exact personality had the responsibility of getting them in trouble, was the spark on both of them. 

Both brothers turned in the hallways, James leading the way trying to find his friends as Mare followed him. She knew them only by their names, she had not really been interested in seeing the photos that her brother had brought from his first year at school. She knew one was called Peter because she remembered the name from the muggle tale of Peter Pan. There was also another named Remus who James had told her not to ask why he had so many scars, to which Mare said nothing.

Last was a boy named Sirius, which was the weirdest name she had ever heard. She looked it up in a book and it turned out to be the proper name for the star Alpha Canis Majoris, the brightest in the night sky. That was a name of a person that Mare was interested in meeting.

That's why she basically obligated James to bring her with him to meet them all. She wasn't really sure if someone in Hogwarts would really like to be her friend, as her personality wasn't very likable. But James, who was the same person as her, found not just one but three people who liked to be with him. Mare thought that maybe they would like to be her friend too. 

James stopped in a compartment suddenly making Mare, who was behind him, slam against his back. She groaned and put her hand to her aching nose. However, no one noticed because James was already inside the compartment yelling things at the people inside it. She turned slowly, still rubbing her red nose from the blow, and glared at everyone who was inside the bin.
