Devi sighed as she pulled into the parking spot designated for the condo she shared with her husband and put the car in park. Her shoulders slumped as she finally pulled the keys out of the ignition and placed her head against the steering wheel. The heaviness of the day hit her with the force of a thousand bricks, and the tears finally managed to slip past her eyelashes. She allowed it, allowed the emotion of the day to fully engulf her. It had been a bad one, one of her worst. She had woken up and looked in the mirror, hating the large squishy thighs, thick waist, and pudgy stomach rolls. The disgust had rolled through her so fully, that she had a hard time even looking herself in the eyes while she dressed in the outfit that he had picked for her, just as he always did.

Devi had nearly sobbed when she saw he had picked a pencil skirt that hit just above the knee, a loose fitting red silk blouse, and a pair of black stockings for her to wear to work that day. It was laid out on the chair beside the bed with care, along with a note scrawled in his lazy writing style.

"I hope you feel as sexy as you look in this. I will see you tonight, Kitten."

Her stomach had done a flip at the nickname he had chosen for her, but she sighed when she dropped her hand to stare at the outfit. The shoes were red and black, with a heel that was small enough for her to walk around comfortably, but high enough to put her ass on display. Her jaw clenched, and she strongly considered choosing something else to wear. But she had promised that he could pick the outfit out today.

When she had finally pulled the outfit on, and looked in the mirror, she tilted her head. She'd enjoyed the look actually, and had decided to wear her long black hair down for once, like he enjoyed. She had taken great care to pick makeup that highlighted her almond shaped eyes, small nose, and high cheekbones. Her lips were adorned in a bright red lip that matched the tone of her blouse, and she almost didn't recognize the Goddess that stood in the mirror before her with dark eyeshadow that made her usually dull brown eyes sparkle in an almost exotic glint. It was probably too much for work, but she knew it would fit in with the flashy women of her office. She actually felt like she fit in for once when she strode into the office. Her confidence had soared most of the day, and she had strutted around the office with that rare gift.

It had been just after lunch when her world came crashing down. She had been in the bathroom stall when two coworkers walked in.

"Can you believe what Devi is wearing today," one had said with disgust. Janet, she recognized the voice.

"I know! Her ass looks so fat. I don't know why she thought she could pull that outfit off! I'm sure an elephant would look better," another intoned cruelly.

"I thought she looked nice today. Her shoes are cute," a soft voice cooed. Lisa, one of the office sweethearts.

Devi felt the tears prick at the corner of her eyes, and shoved her fist against her mouth to keep the sob from being heard.

"Cute if she didn't have cankles and thighs the size of lifeboats." Janet again.

"And that bright red lipstick..just screams whore," the second voice said with a laugh. "I don't know why her husband is with her. He could do much better."

"Come on guys, we need to get back," Lisa said, and her words made it sound as if she were uncomfortable. The other two muttered affirmation, and the click of heels heralded their exit.

Devi sat in the silence of the executive bathroom for what felt like hours, tears silently streaming down her face. When she felt she could cry no more, she exited the stall and walked up to the mirror. Her makeup was smeared, the dark black eyeliner made her look like a racoon, and her eyes glowed a bright red from the tears. No amount of water was going to salvage her face. She pulled out her phone and typed out an email to her secretary and boss saying she would be taking the rest of the afternoon off. Thankfully she already had her purse, and was able to sneak out of the building without being seen. Then she drove around for hours, aimlessly, tears occasionally falling down her face. Finally, she knew she had to go home. Had to face Shota.
