His greed went in the way, and it turned down the stray.
He didn't like how it was, nor the choices they chose, but they did it for the sake of their sanity; that one day they will be alone once again.
He will once know and think he ruined the dirt, that it wouldn't grow grass anymore.
They instead gave mercy on him without a doubt to his actions that created the grass to grow old, and expire.
He now wishes he wasn't a branch, but a tree with leaves that grows new fruit, and gives off life to others.
