The Zenith Board (1D Fanfic)

The Zenith board.

Roll the dice,

Now everything comes to life.

There are stories of this mysterious Zenith board, stories of it bringing you to places you've only dreamed of. What will happen when McKenna and her friends find the board up in her attic? The whole world will be twisted.

Chapter 1:

Staying at her grandparents house wasn't McKenna's definition of summer break. The only good thing about staying there was their house was huge, it was old and it ran in her family for generations. Some say its haunted others say it's elegant. Her friends Niall, Louis, Zayn, Liam, Kayla, Eleanor, Danielle and Perrie, all were staying with her at her grandparents house. She wasn't really friends with Niall, Louis, Zayn and Liam but her brother Harry, was.

"McKenna, hurry up!" Harry exclaims from downstairs, McKenna runs to the edge of the top of the white Victorian staircase, "Harry, hush, don't get your knickers in a twist!" She says down to her curly haired brother. "Just hurry," he says calmer, "what's your rush? There's nothing to do there anyways," McKenna mumbles, as she walks back to her room. She grabs her black duffle bag filled with clothes, electronics, make up and her stuffed teddy bear Pinky, even though she is 16, she still has a teddy bear.

She walks down stairs, "Harry!" She calls out, "he's in the car," her older sister Gemma states, "why aren't you coming, Gem?" McKenna asks her sister innocently, "because I'm too old," she replies, patting McKenna on the head before McKenna walks out. Harry was in the driver seat, McKenna had no choice but to drive with Harry and his friends. "Louis, get out of the front!" McKenna exclaims, "no no, your too young," he says, with a chuckle. "Excuse me, but Harry is younger than you and he's driving so move," McKenna says, Louis gave in and hopped into the back seat with the rest of the boys.

*Mckenna's POV *

As she took her seat she heard Zayn say, "aw is it someone's time of the month?" He teases, "shut it you dirty bastard," I snap at him. I heard Niall laugh at my comment. "She's just mad because she doesn't want to go," Harry says as he begins to drive. "Aw! Poor baby McKenna couldn't have her way!" Niall teases, "says the boy who wears four leaf clover boxers," I respond looking out the window. All the boys laugh.

"Ouch," Niall says, yeah, don't expect to make a comment about me being a baby and think I'm not gonna get you back, I thought to myself. "Your cranky get some sleep," Harry suggests, I sigh, "I can't," I reply. "Why not?" Harry asks, "because if I fall asleep I'm going to get pranked by one of your idiot friends," I say, Harry nods knowing exactly what they would do. Harry turned up the radio to Olly Murs new single, "Heart Skips A Beat," all the boys started singing, lord, help me.

Chapter 2:

We finally got to the house, it had a long driveway that went up a hill and that was closed off by a gate, you couldn't see the house since it was deep in the woods, but after driving up a but through the trees you could see the top of it. It was brown, it had a nice Victorian style and it looked like the queen would live here. But as we got closer it looked older, and scary. Like a haunted mansion in a movie. Chills zoomed through my body.

"Anyone else feel totally creeped about this place?" I whisper, "yes," they all replied. "Okay, good at least I'm not the only one," I say. "Hopefully it's better on the inside," Harry says, his voice hopeful. Harry parked the land rover and we all got our stuff out. Eleanor, Kayla, Perrie and Danielle all came shortly after. I walk up the dark cement staircase and ring the door bell. It was one of those creepy doorbells. The huge door swings open and I'm faced with a tall man, in a suit, who looked older than 50.
