The reunion

"Hey, can I borrow your red dress? I want to look good in class any of our classmates have had a glow up," Mina said through your door.

"Yeah sure let me grab it for you," I got up and dug it out of my closet. "Here," I said opening the door and handing it to her.

"Thanks! Also why the hell aren't you getting ready? We're leaving in an hour!"

"Oh I'm not going I don't think, I have work to catch up on," I said going back to my desk in the corner of my room.

"Like hell you aren't, all you do it work! I'm sick of it! We haven't done anything fun since you got promoted, for one night go out with me! Even if it is just a school reunion!" She said marching over to me and tugging on my arm.

"Mina, I would love to but I have a ton of work to do!"

"If you don't go I won't bring you coffee every morning anymore."

"Now that's just cruel. You know I can't go."

"Fine no coffee for you, hmph," she turned on her heals and left.

I sighed reluctantly and turned the chair around as she was leaving. "What would I even wear? It's formal right?"

Mina gave it some thought, "wear the blue dress, you always looked amazing in blue when you went out." She giggled and skipped away.

I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. Maybe one night out wouldn't hurt. I would simply make sure I got home at a reasonable time. I got up and pulled the blue dress out from my closet and the matching heels. Good thing I showered earlier. I styled my hair and did my makeup accordingly. I slipped myself into the dress and zipped it up. I took a good look at myself in the mirror and I looked good. I may be a work-aholic now but I've still got it.

I was waiting in the living room and unsurprisingly my roommate still wasn't ready. I responded to some emails on my phone while I waited.

"So how do I look? Sexy right!" She skipped out of her room and did and twirl for us. My black cat came out from under the couch and nodded in approvement. "See, even Magic approves!" Mina clapped rushing over to pet my cat.

"No you look sexy as hell, god damn!" I said pretending to cool my self down with my hand as a fan. "We ready? Who's driving?" I said already knowing the answer and digging out my keys from the bag.

"You look gorgeous! Wait give me a twirl!" Mina said making me stand up. I did and gave a cute little spin. "Please have my children," Mina exclaimed.

I gave her a dirty look before walking to the door, "I'm leaving now, come along if you want." She rushed out the door behind me.

There it was, UA. As big and intimidating as always. I parked my car by the curb and Mina and I both got out. We passed through security and made our way to the cafeteria.

"Hey guys!" A familiar voice said behind us. We turned around to see the redhead with sharp teeth grinning at us, "long time no see hey?"

"Hey Kiri!" I waved.

"Oh my gosh we haven't spoken in FORVER!!" Mina said running over to him and hugging him, "I can't believe this oh my god! Let's catch up! How have you been?" Mina said.

The two got lost in conversation and I follows behind them to the cafeteria. Once we were there I was surprised to see it had been decorated for this and look very formal. Mina and Kiri had ditched me so I was alone for now.

I scanned the crowd and my eyes fell upon the Buffet table. My moth watered at the sight of all my favorite foods and I rushed over to grab a plate. I filled my plate up with spicy curry and some appetizers.
