Isn't it funny ? He asked me. I replied asking what's funny ? His answer put me in a place of temporary uncertainty, "isn't it funny how within a second emotions that you felt overwhelmed with can be replaced with another emotion but yet it's the same feeling of it being overwhelming?" You see just a few days ago I was overwhelmed with a overwhelming feeling of sadness and loneliness but within a second and just a few words those emotions vanished and was replaced. I began to wonder ask he spoke those words "has he been watching me, how else can you explain him knowing what is on my mind?". How can a person who I have not spoken to about the secrets that I hold within, read me like a open book digging deep to the hidden parts in me? Taking a second I gazed into his eyes absorbing every second, not taking it for granted. Within that second it's as if my soul had found the person meant to read it. When the second ended my answer followed, locking eyes with him my lips began to move freely replying "is it comedy or is it the weakness of those who allow the effects of life to determine their emotions? A person whom emotions can switch as quick as a light switch is that person not weak and open to be a victim to the harshness of life?" A spark, it's as if I had sparked a sense of interest a reply which he was not expecting.
