The next day, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Mellie but no Will rode their bikes as Mellie skated past buses and other students as they made their way towards the school building. The boys sat their bikes on the rack and looked around.
"That's weird. I don't see him." Mike noticed.
"I'm telling you, his mom is right." "He probably just went to class early again."
"Yeah, he's always paranoid Gursky's gonna give him another pop quiz". Dustin remarked.
"Sounds like him all right" Mellie agreed.
"Step right up ladies and gentlemen."
"Shit". Mellie said under her breath as Troy and James walked up behind her and the boys.
"Step right up and get your tickets, for the freak show". "Who do think would make more in a freak show?"
Troy walked up to Lucas and nudged his shoulder."Midnight?"
Then Mike."Frogface?"
Then Dustin."Toothless?"
Then Mellie."Or Frogface's Bitch?"
Before he nudges her, she grips tightly onto Troy's wrist and stares hard into his brown eyes.
"Don't, you, dare Anthony." Mellie said, using his full name as she gripped his wrist tighter. Mellie shoved his wrist and backs away.
James looks over at the four. "I'd go with Toothless." He said, mimicking Dustin's voice.
"I told you a million times, my teeth are coming in. It's called cleidocranial dysplasia."
"I told you a million times." James said, still mimicking Dustin.
"Do the arm thing."
"Do it, freak!"
Dustin takes his jacket pushes his shoulders.
"Dustin, please don't do it." Mellie pleaded
Not listening to Mellie, Dustin pushes his shoulders abnormally closer together making a crack noise.
The bullies groans as they look away.
"God, it gets me every time."
Troy and James pushed through the group until Mellie forcefully grabs Troy's arm and turns him around.
"You really have some damn nerve Walsh, embarrassing my friends. You better not do that shit again or your gonna be toothless like him. No offense Dustin."
"Damn, Frogface, come get your bitch!"
"First of all, Frogface has a name, it's Micheal Wheeler." Second, his "bitch" has a name too. It's Amelia Nadine Mulligan. And second, I AM NOT HIS FUCKING BITCH AND I NEVER EVER WILL BE ANYONE'S BITCH!!"
Mellie shouted as she shoved both the bullies.
"You think I'm scared of some girl? You couldn't even hurt a damn fly."
Troy said, humiliating Mellie even more as James just laughed.
She really felt like punching them both until Mike dragged her back.
"Calm down Mel, neither of them are worth it."
"Your right, thanks Mike."
They all watched as both Troy and James walked away.
