36| Getting him back

I bit down on my hand hard until I felt lightning strike and I wa now in my titan form. The female titan had gotten ahead and so did Mikasa. I saw her in the distance brutally attacking the female titan with her ODM swords. I stood up from the couch position I had landed in and began running towards the female titan.

Levi's POV (finally lmao)

I grabbed Eren's babysitter of a sister before she went to do anything else to that bitch who killed off my squad. One thing that lingered in the back of my mind was that i never saw Lana's body, but she wasn't anywhere to be seen. I would've assumed that she was alive and that she was going after the Female titan, due to knowing how she is but i couldn't see her. Just Mikasa.

"We stay back for now" i say holding onto her but i let go once i notice that she calmed down a bit. "Maintain current distance, that fight slowed her down for a bit. It's unlikely Eren is still alive" I say being brutally honest with her. I looked behind me and i saw a lightning strike appear behind me and a titan started running toward us. "Another shifter? This bitch has a friend." I say getting ready to slice this one up. "No! Sir! Wait! That's Lana...." Mikasa stops me, "What?", "She's a titan too by the looks of it! Besides, its 17 meters tall, she'll take her out!" Mikasa says. I watch as the tall titan with long brown hair and Dark coloured eyes and how she was quickly approaching us and had anger filled in her eyes. Is that really you Lana?

She wasn't showing any signs of stopping and i was about to move until she moved her head to the side to avoid us. As she passed us she looked at me in the eyes before turning her head and speeding up towards the female titan. It went by fast as the female titan turned around and landed a solid punch into so called Lana's titan's head. She fell backwards and the femake began to kick the living shit out of her. "Shouldn't we do something!" Mikasa asks me, "If you say that this is Lana down there. She'll be fine, that girl could beat me so this is amateur" I say having slight hope.

Lana stood up and the female titan's eyes widened at started sprinting away once she realized what was going to happen. Lana instantly began going after her, screamin towards the female titan and i noticed something off. Her hair- was changing? It was going from her chocolate brown hair into a platinum blonde. The hell?

Lana pounced onto the female titan and pinning her down, but she didn't hit her face to avoid hurting Eren who was inside of her mouth. Lana screamed in the female titan's face and lifted her fist for another punch but the female titan was faster, she hardened her fist and Lana had dealt with a blow to her face, messing it up and running away once more. I knew that this female titan was intimidated my Lana. She looked up at me from where she sat trying to heal as fast as she could and she nodded at me. "i'll do all the cutting. You find a way to distract her" I switch my blade so It was backwards behind me and I waited for the perfect moment.

My whole body hurt from that. It had been a while since I've been in a fight like this. I look up and see Levi. He's going to kill me for keeping this quiet and Mikasa probably told him.

I nod at Levi and he seemed to get the message due to him saying something to Mikasa and she backed away a bit. He then switched his blade backwards like he always does ready for an attack. I pushed myself off of the ground and began running after this bitch again. I was tired but I had a plan.

I caught up to her pretty fast. Time to kill this bitch. I keep control of my titan as I emerge from the nape and at the very last moment I pull myself out of there and jump forward. Her hair and eyes are now practically white now what the hell? Levi thought to himself (photo at the top idk the creds but just imagine the hair is longer)

I draw out my blades and me and Levi attack as soon as she turned around to get rid of us. Levi spun along her arm, slicing it whilst I flew straight to her face and blinded her with both of my blades. I pull them away and draw new blades out , seems Levi had the same idea. We look at eachother and his eyes were slightly wide and looking just under my eyes to where my titan marks were. I sigh. "I'll explain everything later" I say and he nods going back to focusing on getting Eren back.

We both went into a slicing spree and cutting her legs, arms, whatever. Mikasa was surprised to how fast me and Levi were going. He may be the best skilled soldier but I can match him in speed. We relentlessly keep attack him and she falls against a tree and her hand from behind her nape drops. I pant and look over at Mikasa was latched her ODM gear over on the nape. I knew exactly what she was about to do. "Mikasa don't!" I yell as I rush to make my way there but Levi beat me to it. He pushed her out of the way and landed awkwardly on the femal titan's hand which was about to hit her. I heard a crack come from Levi's leg and I got slightly worried. I made myself useful and sliced her mouth making Eren drop out of it and I caught him.

"I got him! He's fine!" I shout, "We've got Eren. Don't screw this up by making this personal Mikasa, we get that you love him but try not to act crazy. Let's go Lana" Levi says taking off. I catch up to Levi but I keep my mouth shut knowing that this won't go well later on. Levi turned around and his eyes widened, I look over and see that the female titan was crying? I look at Levi and he looked back at me whilst I held onto Eren covered in some weird titan saliva.

We met up with everyone and I placed Eren on a cart and covered him with my cape which I miraculously still had after transforming somehow. I was helping some people with lifting the dead corpses onto carts and I noticed that Levi was cutting a badge off of Petra's jacket and I tried to hold my tears back as I remembered what state she was in. "I hate this part" I say, "You're telling me, we can never get used to this" a soldier I was helping replied.

I noticed that Levi was limping on his leg and I approached him. "Need help with that?" I ask making him turn around to me. "I'm fine. You on the other hand have to explain what you are to to Erwin, I won't say anything about it unless you want me to. You helped us out and proved that you weren't a threat to us" This wasn't the reaction I was expecting from him, "That's it? NO shouting or threatening to kill me or something? " I ask and he raised his eyebrow. "Why would I do that? is that what you were expecting?" He asks and I nod. "Lana I've known you loing enough to know that you'd only keep things to yourself if it was that important to you. I'm surprised by the fact of what you are but i'm sure you have you reasons" LEvi replies.

I look down at his leg, "I'll help you with that" I say as I grab some bandages from my horse bag. I squat down and wrap his ankle to give it some support and he flinched a bit. "Sorry" I mutter quietly. Once I had finished I stood up and he was looking at me weird, shock maybe? "What is it?" I ask, "No one's, really helped me like that before" he says, "You mean wrapping your ankle?" I ask obnoxiously. "I mean that you weren't afraid that i'd yell at you for touching me. Even if you were only trying to help" He admits. "You aren't as intimidating to me as you are to others" I slightly smile trying to ease the mood alittle. I walked away and I went to Petra's body and I saw where Levi took the patch from. He did this to remember his squad. I cut out the other patch from the sleeve and put it in my pocket. "I'm so sorry Petra" I say fighting my emotions back.

"I really am, but i'll look after the Captain for you. For the squad"
