Chapter two- on his own again

Bryan being six at the time had no way he could own a house or even get a job. So the little boy went searching for a place to stay or some food with his horse.
After hours of mindless wondering he sees something that resembled a person. Out of joy the small child ran over to them, but once he got close to see her he was instantly scared. The strange looking woman had a dark red snake tail that shimmered in the summer sun.
Bryan sneaked closer to try to get a better look. The woman seemed to sense the boy's presence and looked him dead in the eyes. Out of fear the tiny kid screamed out afraid of the woman come of any closer.
  Bryan/p.o.v
I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. I could feel Helios's hot breath down my neck. The tall scary lady slowly snuck closer and closer to me.
I tried to run but my legs felt like they where glued to the ground. The woman began to talk in a calming voice that made me feel better. "I'm Kayla what's your name little one?" She whispered in her enchanting voice. "M-my n-name is B-B-Bryan ma'am" I stuttered. "That's a very cute name Bryan, but if you don't mind me asking where are your parents?" She hissed in a calm tone, I sobed "they kicked me out because they didn't like me." Kayla nod understanding what he was going through.
No ones/ pov
Kay looked at the small boy and motioned for him to follow. He nodes following the stranger on his horse.
