"Be careful honey and have fun!", "Thanks mum!", Livia says, when walking out the door. She takes a taxi to the Leaky Cauldron, thanks the taxi driver and closes the door. The taxi drives off and Livia's eyes lock on the door of the Leaky Cauldron. This is going to be her first step in the magic world. She feels excitement rushing through her body, but also a bit of fear. What if she can't find the right shops? What if she misses the Hogwarts Express? What if You-know-who returns? She told herself not to worry about these things and goes inside.

It looked like a pub - just as her parents told her. There were a few people sitting here and there, but the important thing is of course finding the passage to Diagon Alley. Her parents had told her that it was a brick wall at the back of the pub. Livia walked into a hallway and found a door that opened up to the wall. She tapped a few bricks and it magically opened up.

There she saw Diagon Alley, it looked beautiful! There were people walking from one shop to the other, owls flying above her head and she heard people talking about Harry Potter. Harry Potter is coming to Hogwarts! Livia already knew this, she's fascinated about what happened to Harry. She hopes she will get to talk to Harry, but respects his privacy if he doesn't want that.

She decides to go to Flourish and Blotts first to get her books. It was very busy inside but after 20 minutes she was finally able to get all of her books. the next place Livia headed to was Madam Malkin's. She needed to buy robes, a hat, protective gloves and a winter cloak. As a little extra Livia bought a scarf. The last place she needed to go to was Ollivander's. People had told her that Mr. Ollivander himself was quite a creepy guy. As she was walking to this shop, she saw a big, redheaded family: the Weasleys! Livia's parents and the Weasleys have been friends for 25 years. She runs over to them.

"Hello Molly! How are you guys?", "Hey sweetie! Good, good. Also getting your wand? We were about to head over for Ron to get his." Livia nodded and she and all of the Weasleys, except for Bill and Charlie, went to Ollivander's.

The old man started talking: "Well, well, well... another Weasley! I have something for you in the back... and who is this?" "Livia Thompson, sir", "Ahh, Livia! I knew your dad since he was born... weird fella that was... well anyways, I think this wand will suit you." He showed her a light brown wand. "Maple wood with a dragon heartstring core, 12 1/2 and slightly yielding flexibility, give it a wave." Livia did as he said and felt a magical warmth around her body, "Thank you, sir!"

After they got all of their stuff, Livia and the Weasley family headed over to King's Cross Station. Livia's parents had told her about this. She had to run straight into the wall in between platform 9 and 10, but she was glad that the red-headed family was here to help her.

The first one to run through the wall was Percy, Livia never really liked him. After him the rest of the family ran through, except for Molly, Ron and Ginny. "Don't be scared kids, there's nothing to be afraid of." She smiles at us and Ron decides to go first. He was successful. Livia didn't hesitate and ran to platform 9 3/4 straight after him.

It was beautiful. Such an amazing experience. Finally she's going to Hogwarts! Ron and Livia got into a compartment together and the train took off. A boy came up to our door. "Hi... I'm sorry to bother you, but do you mind if I join you guys? All the other compartments are full." Livia recognized him immediately, it was Harry Potter, the boy who lived.
