Livia looks at Ron, but he doesn't seem to notice that this young boy is the famous Harry Potter. "Of course! No problem." Ron said. "Thank you." The boy sat down next to Livia and smiles at her. "Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Ha-" Livia finishes his sentence, "Harry Potter, nice to meet you too", she smiles, "my name is Livia Thompson and this is Ron Weasley." Harry gave her a glance and then looked at Ron. Suddenly they heared the train engines start and felt it moving forwards. The kids all looked at each other. You could see the sparkling excitement in their eyes.
"So, so it's true, I mean... do you really have the- the... scar?" Ron asks. Harry shows his scar to them. "Wicked" Ron says, and he smiles. Livia's mouth stays open. "Wow... that's incredible. I've always admired you." Livia's eyes lock with Harry's, she just realised how weird that would've sounded for him. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to say it like that." Harry laughs and tells her it's okay. Livia hears footsteps in the hallway and looks at the open door. An old lady is standing infront of it with a trolley. "Anything of the trolly, dears?" Livia's mum already made her a nice sandwich and it seemed like Ron also got his sandwiches from Molly. Harry looks at us, then back at the lady. "We'll take the lot!" He grabs a whole lot of coins out of his pocket and gives them to the lady. Livia got a few of those too, from her mum. She explained to her what the money system is like, but Livia still didn't really understand it. There are galleons, which are equal to 17 sickles. And there's... what was it? 29 Knuts in a Sickle.
Harry, Ron and Livia are enjoying the sweets. There are so many sweets Livia has never even heard about or seen and they are incredible. Some move, some are delicious, others taste like snot. It seemed like Harry didn't know any of them. He told them about how he grew up in the muggle world, just like Livia, but with a horrible family. He said they were the worst people on the planet. Livia felt sorry for him, she was glad she still had her mum. Her dad died when she was 7 and she never had any siblings.
They kept talking about their lives and about magic, such as Hogwarts it self. Suddenly a girl barged into their compartment. She sighs, "Has anybody seen a toad? A boy named Neville lost it" "No" Ron answered, a bit confused. The girl looks over to Harry. "Holy cricket, you're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger. And... you are?" She said in a bossy voice, looking over at Ron and Livia. Ron lookes at Livia with a grin on his face. The two of them always laugh when they meet somebody who are really bossy, mean, over the top, etc. They start laughing. "I'm Livia Thompson and this is Ron Weasley, nice to meet you." They burst in laughter again. Hermione starts talking again, with a disgusted face, "Uhm... I don't know what's so funny. Anyways nice to meet you I guess..." She walks away.
The three of them looked at each other, all of them knowing this girl is going to be pretty annoying. She seems to be that 'know-it-all' girl. Livia had a girl at her primary school like that, she hated her.
"I think we're almost there. We should put on our robes" Ron said. Livia wasn't sure if she got the right size, she hopes it is. They go to the toilets and change. Luckily the robe fitted her perfectly. She thought she looked pretty cute. Once they all changed they walked back to their compartment and talked with eachother and watched the view. Livia felt really happy, she hadn't laughed this much in a while and was glad she could share this experience with Ron and Harry.
