The Year I was noticed

1. years 1-4

I was looking out my window at the beautiful summer day. I open it to feel the afternoon breeze that I can't help but love. Today is my 11 birthday. My parents both went to Hogwarts so I was expecting a letter. I turn to face my window again to see a snowy white owl with a letter in its beak. I shrieked with joy while carefully opening the cream colored envelope. It read:

Dear miss Y/N,

    We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. All necessary books and equipment can be purchased at Diagon Alley. We await your owl no longer than 31 July.

Please make your way to King's cross station And on to Platform 9 and ¾  Where you meet the Hogwarts Express. Term begins on 1 September.

Students shall be able to Report to the chamber of reception upon arrival .We very much look forward to  receiving you as a part of a new generation of Hogwarts heritage.

"MOM!! My Hogwarts letter came!" I yelled into the large hallway outside of my room. She didn't hear me so I ran downstairs thrusting the letter into her hands.

"What is this? Wait is this your letter?!" she asked me as I nodded still out of breath from running down the long spiral staircase.

"Can we go to Diagon alley?" I asked hopefully.  "Sure. Go get you thin..." I ran upstairs before she could finish her sentence. I paused for a second thinking about how people will think i'm some kind of snobby rich kid and that is not what i'm going for. My parents were both sorted into Slytherin which means I probably will too. I don't want to tell them this but i don't want to get sorted into Slytherin. I also want to have a normal year and not have people say stuff about me just because of my famous last name. My parents don't really open up to me so i just sit in my room by myself most of the time. I don't have many friends.  I finish getting my clothes on and race down the stairs more excited than ever before.

(time jump to Diagon alley because i'm lazy lol)

We get to the Leaky Cauldron and I see a large man with a skinny brown haired boy with large round glasses. I walk over as the man says hi to me. "Hello I'm y/n nice to meet you"

"Well hello there I'm Hagrid and this is Harry Potter" he stands up to greet me. He is very tall, I think to myself. He motions for me to sit down next to him. " hello i'm harry nice to meet you"

Those words were the beginning of an amazing friendship.

QUICK SUMMARY

Year one: I get sorted to Gryffindor and quickly become friends with the golden trio, the Weasleys, and a couple other people. I make an alliance with a young boy named Draco Malfoy and we quickly become good friends. Hermione is my best friend out of them all. I also became friends with Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff, he's not in my year though. The golden trio and I find out about the philosopher's stone and Harry and I were the ones who rescued it in the end. Gryffindor wins the house cup and next thing I know it's year 2.

Year two: I become a chaser for the Gryffindor quidditch team, become quite closer with a boy named Neville. We both like Herbology so it was an easy friendship to make. Harry starts hearing voices and so do I but I don't tell anyone. We find out that he's a parselmouth, so am i but only Hermione knows that. I start pulling pranks with Fred and George. We find out that Ginny has been taken. Hermione and a bunch of others get paralyzed. We find out that Tom Riddle has been using me to help him on his quest. Harry destroys a horcrux, kills the basilisk and we are saved. I realize that it's almost year 3.

Year three: Draco is hot all of a sudden. Harry and Ron look more grown up. I haven't changed a bit unfortunately. Hagrid is the new care of magical creatures teacher. Lupin is the new DADA teacher. I get to ride a hippogriff with Harry!(I got to put my arms around his waist). We find out that Sirius black is my father, and Harry's godfather( a/n yup I did that lol). Hermione punches Draco for being a git. We go back in time and save Sirius and Buckbeak. Harry and I cast a really powerful Patronus charm. Also Lupin is a werewolf. Now before I know it, it's year 4.

Year four: It's the Triwizard Tournament. Harry gets picked and Ron is mad at him for        'wanting eternal glory'. Harry fights a dragon, rescues me in the black lake (I know right!!), gets past the maze. Tells us that Voldemort is back unfortunately. (Let's pretend that Cedric doesn't die). I realize that everyone had a glo-up except for me. It was also the yule ball. I went with Harry as friends(insert sad face). He is an awful dancer lol. Hermione went with Viktor Krum. That's all. Now it's year five.
