Please Help Me

Chapter 2

Images flashed by quickly of pioneers getting on the Mayflower and a ship on the water with a storm surrounding it.

Annie and I squealed. We were so excited!

We did a big drop.

Our car twisted and turned. It felt like we were rocking on a boat! Then, a big drop came that splashed us with water! Then we started going uphill. We saw a bright light. That's right, Katrina said it was the Sun. A recorded voice said, "You're almost there pilgrims." Then we did a a lemon twist and fell into a flip flop and more lemon twists and drops and then came the big loop in the dark!

I heard a blood curling scream next to me. Annie screamed on the ride? She never screams, only squeals with me! Whatever. This ride was scary but fun! Better than Exploration Alpine too even though that ride is very good!

We saw the wave where we were going to next! According to Katrina, the wave would "swallow" the ship and then you would go through a hall that would show images of the real pilgrims arriving to America and that would be the end of the ride.

But suddenly, the tracks curved and we headed away from the wave. A fake wooden sign in front of us said, "Rocky Mountain."

"What the freak?" I heard Sam say. "The Rockies had nothing to do with the Mayflower."

It was still dark, but I could tell we entered a different room in the ride. I heard the doors shut behind us and heard a click of a lock. Then we started going up a hill and suddenly I saw light.

The music of the ride had stopped playing. There was a ride booth (you know? Like on the water rides where the guy is in it watching you go down a hill in a log flume?) with no one in it. On the platforms next to the tracks were McDonalds cups and other trash. Suddenly, the ride jolted to a stop. A click sounded, and the main light from above flickered on. From what I could hear next door, the ride was going smoothly for some other car. What was going on?

Suddenly, we heard a voice throughout the room.

"Rocky Mountain did have nothing to do with the Mayflower, but this journey will be very rocky for you six."
