Chapter 1

"Marie, I need you to go the store." My mom called upstairs. I groaned.
"Kay." I called. I could imagine my mom rolling her eyes and frowning like always.
"I mean now, Marie."  I sighed and got up to put my sandals on. I hate going to the store for my mom. She takes five years to make up a list and then while I'm in the check out line she calls and says she needs cheese or something. The cashiers at Kroger hate me.
I jog down the stairs and see my mom actually waiting with the list. My eyes must have widened, because she looked at me and said, "Don't be so surprised, Marie. Goodness." I laughed a little and took the list.
"So we're having tacos tonight?" I asked as I put on my sweater since it was a bit chilly. She nodded. I smiled and waved before walking out the door and to my car. While I was driving I stopped at Starbucks for a mocha frappe. What? The least my mom can do is buy me a three dollar mocha. Honestly.
I groaned out loud as I realized I had to park in the back of the lot. "Why is it so freaking busy! It's a Tuesday evening." I sighed and stepped out, beginning the trek to the store. I stepped inside and grabbed a cart and then I sanitized it. No Ebola for me. I pushed the cart into the drink aisles, grabbing some milk, soda, and juice. Okay. Now I need hamburger, cheese, lettuce, and hot sauce. Oh, and taco shells.
I made my way into the spices aisle and bend down to get a packet of taco seasoning. I fume when four boxes of rice fall on top of me because some idiot tried to reach over me to grab a box. I stood up and stared daggers at the person. "Honestly? Why don't you learn to watch it, you-" I stopped. The person standing in front of me was Kian Lawley.  He was looking awkward and regretful. I sighed. "You know what, it's fine, forget about it."
"I'm so sorry, I was just- see, I'm a YouTuber, and I was filming a video, and I needed some rice.." Kian started to explain, rubbing the back of his neck. I smiled faintly.
"You're fine. Don't worry about it. I love your videos, by the way." I hope I didn't seem like a crazed fangirl. I love Kian, but it's like the way you love your crush who has no idea who you are. I wasn't going to scream and try to get a lock of his hair or something.
"Oh, you watch my videos?" Kian said, smiling slightly. I nodded.
"I've been watching since Superkian13 started." His eyes widened.
"Woah. You're dedicated." He laughed. I love his laugh. But this Kian is different from the one you see behind the camera in his videos. This is the real Kian Lawley, not the actor. Or video maker. Or comedian. Just Kian. I think I like this Kian a little more. "Listen, I'm really sorry. That was a totally idiot move on my part. To make it up to you maybe we can meet up for Starbucks or something sometime." Kian offered. I nodded and dug in my purse for a piece of paper and a pen. I scribbled my number down with my name beside it. I handed it to Kian and smiled before waving and going back to my groceries.

Kian's P.O.V

Woah. That girl has been watching me since the beginning. Oh crap. She's seen FETUS KIAN! I wonder if she likes me. Like friend way. Obviously. I wonder when is too soon to ask her to Starbucks?.... As friend, of course. Obviously. I look down at the piece of paper. Her name is Marie. That's a beautiful name. I love how she turned the tail of the E into a heart. I think we could be good friends. I smile and go back to making my video. I'll have to edit my little run-in with Marie out later. My fans would go crazy with hate for her.
After I finish filming the video and getting kicked out, I stop by McDonald's. I order McNuggets and fries with a pepsi. I drive back to the O2L house and announce that I'm home when I walk in. I go upstairs to my room to start editing this video while I enjoy my meal. I'm not sure why, but I keep on thinking about Marie. I feel really bad about knocking the rice over on her. Poor girl was just trying to get some taco seasoning. I laughed a little and smiled as I rewatched our encounter before I edit it out. She's really cool.
When I'm done editing the video I start the uploading process. It says there are seven hours left until it's done. That's quite a bit of time. I decide to tweet out that the video's coming. It amazes me how fast I get responses. It's been ten seconds and already 51 favorites. I love my fans. They can be totally crazy at times, but then.. when I need them, they're there. Instantly offering all of their support and motivation. I can always count on them when I'm feeling down. Sometimes you need that, you know? I need that.
