"They don't know where the necklace is

"They don't know where the necklace is. I have to keep them from figuring it out", Stefan just finished as he glared down at Katherine Pierce, who showed up in Chicago to see him and to stay near her sister.
"There they are, my two favourite people. Draculaura and Caïus", Zlatina spoke up, talking about the vampires that watched her surprised.

"Why did you follow me?", the Salvatore asked suspiciously, questioning her trust since she seemed to get along pretty good with the hybrid himself. "Because of your little problem that, sadly but also adventurously had become mine, too", the older Petrova replied amused before she continued. "Besides, I like your main idea. That's why I suggest to kill the witch. And I'm even offering to do it. As you may have noticed, I don't like her and killing her would be... well glorious, if you understand."

The girl winked at Stefan who smirked ironically. "Gloria's still owning the bar? Already hated her in earlier times", Katherine agreed unimpressed. The two sisters knew that things went quite well since the older one was reunited with Niklaus, after all it kept him from hunting the younger sibling. And once again, they survived his try to break the curse that laid on him. The only problem was the fact, that his hybrids died, which could get pretty dangerous for Zlatina.

"I have it all under control", Stefan told the sisters, obviously not interested in their help. "Please tell me you have a better plan than that. You do. Come on, Stefan, you're not the diabolical type. Whatever you're planning, it's not gonna work", Katerina answered, not breaking eye contact with her ex lover, which made her sister roll her eyes. "Well, if the two most diabolical women I know can't seem to figure it out then I must be doing something right", the Salvatore teased, leading the older brunette to sigh. "Come on, dark Stefan isn't cool. Leave the bad attitude to Damon, he wears it well", she commented, biting her lips provocative as she mentioned the man's brother.

"Right, I forgot you're bad now. Don't get too cocky. Klaus is smarter than you. He's smarter than everyone", Katherine told the younger vampire, although she knew that she was lying. Actually it was the woman next to her that could beat Klaus in any game, and that seemed to be their only weapon.
"And I've heard about that sister", the younger sibling continued, so Zlatina's eyes widened. She was the only one of them that spent much time with Rebekah, and was awaiting for the things her sister might said about the blonde. "Be careful. She'll ruin you."

"Happy to know you still care", Stefan shouted, after all he was already a few steps away from him. He had clearly decided to make his own choices and found a way himself, which would Zlatina surely fix up later, when her sibling wasn't with them. It was possibly for the older one of them to earn the Salvatore's trust again, but Katherine lost it long ago.

"She's right, lover boy. Not because Beks is a bad soul but because she'll know that you're intentions aren't honest. And then she'll get rid of you before you can say Gucci Store." Although he didn't turn around to face her, the male vampire kept Zlatina's words in his mind.
