"Dex where are you?" said Niner down his coms.
"I'm 3 clicks east put your snipers in my direction with a 56 degree angle because of wind strength and your zeroing set to 500m" replied Dex.
"Jax you hear that?" Said Niner.
"I'm one step ahead of you" replied Jax. Jax looks down his rifles scope.
"We have movement 500m away"said Jax.
"Dex how far?" said Niner anxiously.
"I'm about 900m away" replied Dex.
"Stop moving there is movement 400m ahead of you" said Niner.
"Right ill try and circle around them to the south" replied Dex
"I have a visual, looks human" said Jax.
"I see movement 100m ahead of me"said Dex.
"Guys I have regained radio contact the movement isn't humans it's the fallen" shouted Garrus.
"Everyone to the Shuttle NOW! Dex go to the nearest clearing and get ready to set off a flare said Niner as he turned towards the shuttle.
"Dex come to my location I'm setting off my waypoint beacon now" said Garrus.
"Gotcha Garrus moving out"replied Dex.
Niner and Jax make their way over to the shuttle as Angel starts up the engine. meanwhile Dex looks to his wrist and on his screen Garrus's waypoint comes online and he starts to head in his direction.
"Garrus we are going to land in 30 seconds prepare to defend" said Angel
"Angel I lost contact with Dex awhile ago can you try and get com......"
Before Garrus could finish speaking a combat knife comes out from behind him and is put to his throat.
"Who is this" said Dex.
"Dex it's me Garrus can you not tell?" Garrus said frantically trying to speak.
"Take your helmet off I have to be sure. You went off radar and didn't come back on till you contacted us."said Dex.
Garrus took his helmet off.
"Sorry about that Garrus I had to be sure since we aren't in normal armour. said Dex.
"It's alright I know how you feel it's silly really, sending us on a covert mission with even bulkier armour so we don't look like Draconnic Military when we are in the middle of the night and our standard armour is black replied Garrus.
"I've got Dex here you can land" Garrus said to Angel.
The Fallen charged at Garrus and Dex Plasma flying all over barely missing them when out of nowhere heavy cannons started to fire and the fallen were forced to take cover giving Garrus and Dex time to jump onto the hovering shuttle as it flew off into the sky.
"Switching to rockets in 3...2...1..." Said Angel as the shuttle went from rotors to rockets and continued its ascent into space.
"Rendezvouing with the Destiny in 5 minutes" Said Angel over the coms.
"I thought the fallen were a myth" said Dex.
"So did I Dex...." replied Garrus.
"High Command will want to know this" said Dex.
"Ill hand over the mission report myself to Akrus"said Garrus.....
