Draft's Birthday Party (Ch:01)

I am Rhea Pevensie and I'm going to tell you a story which happened with me or I mean with us. Well, let me start with Draft's Birthday Party. I and Ronald were going to his birthday party but on our way, we had to cross a bridge which seemed haunted... Well actually it was the shortcut as Draft lived very far and if we would go on the long route then it would take us one day to reach there. So we decided to cross the bridge... Eerie winds were blowing through the pine trees and it was quite dark. Somehow we crossed the bridge and landed up in a forbidden forest.

Ronald was quite scared and said, "Rhea maybe we have landed up in the wrong place. Let's forget about the birthday party and go back to our house." To which I said, "Ronald, Draft is our best friend and we promised him so how can we not go. I'm sure after crossing this forest we will arrive at the main road and then we will reach his house." But Ronald was scared a lot...

Well I, Ronald and Draft are best friends and we used to have a lot of fun at our school but since it was our summer vacation we couldn't meet each other. But later Draft's birthday came and so we got the chance to see each other. Well, let's move back to the scene. We somehow crossed half of the forest and reached near a small hut. It was really creepy and when we opened the door and found some bones, books, dresses.

Ronald said, "Oh my god maybe this is a ghost's hut and we must leave immediately before it catches us." I was also scared but did not lose my hope and said, "Okay Ronald, maybe the main road is just a little bit far from here. Let's go."

Before we could leave an old man with a large beard and flat stomach came to us and said, "You shouldn't have come to the forbidden forest. I once came here and had to stay forever here itself. Now you also can't go." To which I replied, "Why? What's the reason?"

Unless he could reply, Ronald took my hand and we both ran and landed up at the main road. But when we were running I heard the old man say "That will come back, don't go." But it seemed suspicious to me at that time.

Later Ronald booked a cab and we went to Draft's house. We saw that everybody had already left. And the most amazing part he was the only one there. I thought now we can chit chat a lot. Draft came closer and said, "You guys are late. Everybody already left." Ronald said, "Calm down dude we were going to come early but maybe you just live too far." Hearing this we both laughed even though it was no joke.

We talked for hours and then booked a cab and went to our respective home. After I reached my home. I just wondered why did that old man say such a thing to us. Anyways I was too sleepy and went to my bed but then I just had a quick vision of someone talking to me and it said, "My dear I will come soon. So make sure you bring many friends with you. HAHAHAHA..."

I got so scared and called Ronald but he didn't answer. Later I thought maybe I'm feeling too tired. So I just went back to sleep. Later I woke up the next morning and found that someone had given me a letter. I opened it and found out that it was a ticket to someplace called "Velmora" I was wondering who would give this and asked my parents about it. To which my dad said, "The postman gave me, and here take this other letter also." I took it and saw that it was written: "Please bring one friend with you at Velmora."

I was surprised and immediately called both Ronald and Draft at my house...
