All the while that Ventus had sat on the ground He couldn't accept it or most like He had refused to, But he had seen it with his own two eyes. The gruesome sight added more and more pressure the longer he stared but he couldn't make himself tear his gaze away. Even while the battle raged on around him all Ventus could manage to do was let the tears fall down his cheeks like a waterfall,

He kept thinking to himself that everything was going to be alright and he was even more sure of this when while watching over the Princess back at Disney Castle while she slept in that large plush canopy bed looking just like the second most beautiful girl he had ever seen next to Princess Aurora, That the worlds would be saved and everyone Ventus knew and had grown to become friends with would be safe from the impending darkness threatening to snuff out all the light. But now as Ventus slowly stumbled closer to the sight,

The Princess of Disney Castle sat against the rocky mountain wall soaking in a pool of crimson blood. Her once bright sea-green eyes were now white and lifeless. Head hung down like a broken doll making her once bright orange hair that was always in a ponytail had become tangled and frizzed the warm color becoming a large mess of deep Auburn from the blood slipping through it, slim arms and legs all limp the clothing she wore wasn't even meant for fighting a battle in not that it would have mattered much with how torn and shredded the cloth had become at the very least her modesty was kept, her fathers Keyblade Star Seeker was just mere inches out of her grasp.

After what felt like an eternity he stopped right in front of her and it was as if all the strength left his body as his legs gave out from under him, Sending Ventus kneeling right in front of the broken body of the Princess nearby the sound of how a mother would scold there child was heard.

"Wₑₗₗ ₗₒₒₖ ⱼᵤₛₜ ₐt wₕₐₜ wₑ ₕₐᵥₑ ₕₑᵣₑ ...ᵢ ₜₒₗd yₒᵤ dᵢdₙ'ₜ ᵢ ᵥₑₙₜᵤₛ , ₑᵥₑᵣyₜₕᵢₙg yₒᵤ ₕₒₗd dₑₐᵣ ₐₙd cₗₒₛₑ ₜₒ yₒᵤ wₒᵤₗd bₑ ₜₐₖₑₙ ₐwₐy wₕₑₙ yₒᵤ ₗₑₐₛₜ wₑᵣₑ ₑₓₚₑcₜᵢₙg ᵢₜ ".

The killer turned his head over his shoulder but said nothing, just watching as the battle kept on going around them the sounds of Aqua casting out spells to shield Terra from incoming harm rung in Ventus's ears, but anyone could tell that he was smirking underneath that mask.

With shaking hands Ventus had slowly brought the broken body of the Princess he had sworn to keep safe as the dark skies became a storm hard harsh rain had started to pour while lighting had thundered over. Ven didn't care or feel a single drop, he continued to stare as if his life depended on it pulling her into his lap his fingers brushed back her bangs, his tears dripped onto her soft face as a coked sob broke through him.

" I'm So SORRY ! Saira how could I have let this happen to you !? I took an oath to always be your knight ! everyone trusted me to keep you safe ".

Ventus tucked his face in the crook of her cold neck while the sound of Vanitas came closer his boots hitting the damp land around him all the while Ventus kept himself hidden in his grief of losing the only girl he ever cared so much about not even caring about how close Vanitas had gotten raising Void Gear closer to Ventus's backside.

" Dₒₙₜ wₒᵣᵣy ₗᵢₜₜₗₑ ᵥₑₙₜᵤₛ ₛₕₑ ₐₜ ₗₑₐₛₜ dᵢdₙ'ₜ dᵢₑ ₗᵢₖₑ ₜₕₑ cₒwₐᵣd yₒᵤ ₐᵣₑ ⱼᵤₛₜ ₗₒₒₖ ₐₜ yₒᵤ fₐcᵢₙg ₐwₐy fᵣₒₘ yₒᵤᵣ dₑₛₜᵢₙy! ₐₜ ₗₑₐₛₜ ₑᵥₑₙ fₒᵣ ₐ ₚᵣᵢₙcₑₛₛ ₛₕₑ fₒᵤgₕₜ bₐcₖ wₕᵢₗₑ ₛₕₑ wₐₛ ₛₜᵢₗₗ ₐbₗₑ ₜₒ ₛₜₐₙd ᵤₚ! ₙₒw yₒᵤ ₐₙd ᵢ wᵢₗₗ ⱼₒᵢₙ ₜₒgₑₜₕₑᵣ ₜₒ bₑc₋"

Suddenly Nine versions of the Starlight keyblade came in a flight of wings sending Vanitas to be sent flying back and slamming into a pillar of rock from the graveyard soil causing a wet snapping sound from deep in his ribcage,

Ventus having felt the rush of air fly past him looked behind him to watch as Vanitas grunted from pain-causing even more Unversed to be created around his stumbling form as he righted himself back into a fighting stance.

" Dₐₘ ₗᵢₜₜₗₑ Bᵢₜcₕ! ....ₛₕₒᵤₗd ₕ₋ₕₐᵥₑ ₖₙₒwₙ ᵢₜ wₒᵤₗdₙ'ₜ ₕₐᵥₑ bₑₑₙ ₜₕₐₜ ₑₐₛy ₜₒ ₖᵢₗₗ ₕₑᵣ ₒff ."

Vanitas bent over and puked up blood watching as it splattered the damp earth and slowly picked Void Gear back up, Ventus while still holding onto Saira's cold body had slowly dragged himself away from Vanitas watching him get closer when a soft hand touched his right cheek making him look down at a pair of dim lighted sea-green eyes staring back into his own.

"S-Saira !!? how....HOW ARE YOU ....?"

Ventus was shocked just how long had she been clinging to life during this battle ...she needed to get help and FAST but the feeling of her soft fingertips touching his chin brought him back to only look at her as she spoke.

Saira Coughed and watches the tears slide free on Ventus's cheeks and with a soft smile she whispered to him as her body slowly faded into light.

Ventus then watched as her body faded away and something grew deep inside him causing him to stand up and turn around to face Vanitas with a glare.

" IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME THEN COME ON! UNLIKE YOU I AT LEAST HAVE SOMETHING TO FIGHT FOR EVERYONE I HAVE MET I'VE BECOME A PART OF THEIR HEART, JUST AS THEY'VE BECOME A PART OF MINE. MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER ... AND IM THERIS !"
