I was at school, waiting for our game to start. I sat down on the bleachers, I took a sip from my water bottle and then pulled my phone out of my bag. A lot of people were sitting above me waiting for the game to start so they can watch, the girls from the other team were walking around talking to each other and my team did the same. I texted my mom.
"Hey Mom, you and Dad are coming to my game right?"
I waited for her to reply and she finally texted me back.
"I'm sorry honey, we can't. Were at work still and we have a lot of paper work and meetings to attend to today"
I stared at the text for a few minutes, my eyes started to fill my tears and one tear went down my face. I quickly wiped it away and calmed myself down.
"It's okay mom, there's always next time I guess"
"Yeah, i'm sorry again. We'll see you at home"
"Alright, bye."
I placed my phone in my bag and I looked down at my hands feeling hurt and disappointed. I just needed a moment to relax, without a lot of people around me.
I quickly got up and I started to walk out the gym. I went into the bathroom that was near the gym, I locked the door and looked at my reflection in the mirror. I cried softly to myself.
*Ace's P.O.V*
I got to the gym to see Hazel's game. Their was a lot of people there, I looked around trying to find Hazel. I didn't see her and I was confused. She told me she would be here.
I walked up to one of her team mates.
"Hey do you know where Hazel is?"
"She just left,"
"Left? Which way?"
She pointed to a direction and I looked where she pointed. I looked back at her team mate.
"Thanks," I nodded my head and went into the direction she told me where Hazel went.
I kept on walking but didn't see her.
"Where is she?" I screwed my eyebrows in confusion.
All of a sudden I heard something. More like someone, and I think they were crying. It kinda sounded like Hazel when she cried, I looked at the direction where I heard the crying come from. I walked over to the bathroom door and knocked.
