At noon that very same day, Lucille, her parents and the White Queen along with the captured mage was standing in the Lefevre's salon. Madame Lefevre had made a pot of tea and baked sweet tarts for Lucille's farewell party.

They had just arrived back, Alessandro was filled with gratitude for Lucille's safe return, but when she had told him that soon she would have to depart and may never see each other for a long time he had a feeling of great sorrow.

He hugged her as tight as his boyish arms could take, neither of them wanted to stop hugging. "So this is it then! He wept. "Will we ever see each other again?" Lucille considered this, "I like to think so Sandro, but we don't know what the future will hold!"

Her eyes started to swell with small droplets; she wiped a tear away with her sleeve and tried to put on a brave front. She turned to go say farewell to her parents when Alessandro called to her back. "Will you write to me? He asked her "Everyday!" she smiled; he smirked in return and waited with his parents to see Lucille go.

Lucille walked over to her parents who were busy talking to the White Queen, or was it a disagreement Lucille wasn't sure herself. "Must she go, can't she stay here? She's safe now that you caught the mage, surely she can stay!" presumed Marie with a positive attitude as if she was going to get what she wanted.

The Queen shook her head, "Yes we caught the mage, but the order will only send more after her and a girl like Lucille will always be in danger. She's not like you there will always be people who would exploit her for her power she's a danger to herself as well as to society and you would have to look over your shoulder all the time, could you live like that?!"

Marie sighed as her husband wrapped his arm around her for reassurance. "No your right, I guess we always knew this day would come, but now it's finally here I just wish we could have all the days back with her again!" She shed a tear and wiped it away with a handkerchief.

The white Queen sympathized, she wasn't all heartless. "Don't fret my dear, she will be well taken care of and there will be other children her own age it may take awhile for her to settle in, but I promise she's in safe hands!"

They strained a smile and thanked her for her help. Then they saw Lucille and grinned happily as if nothing had happened. "I will take my leave I'll try one of Madame Lefevre's famous tarts everyone seems to be talking about." The White Queen said high spirited.

Then Lucille was left with her parents saying a teary farewell. "Don't cry maman, I will write to you everyday if I get the opportunity!" Her mother then stopped crying and looked daring through a strained smile "Vous mieux." She embraced Lucille in a hug followed by her husband. "We will both miss you mon chère. We hope to see you again someday, but when we do you won't be the same girl, but that's not a bad thing." her father said wholeheartedly with a smile on his face, one that will be the last she will ever see for a long time.

Lucille blushed. "I will always be your little girl Papa." They beamed at each other then continued to hug, they even invited Alessandro to join in the family embrace, Alessandro's parents watched with admiration, as the White Queen took a bite of her moreish tart, which surprised her how good it was, she went to question Madame Lefevre about her magic ingredient, when Lucille called to her in signal that she was ready to go.

But before they could go there was one thing the White Queen needed to do, she went over to the Lefevre's and performed a memory charm, "Eradio memoria!" a bright white light formed around Madame and Monsieur Lefevre's head.

Then they came out of the daze, looked at them oddly especially the White Queen "What you all gawking at I've got to get the tea on, who wants a pot of tea? Madame Lefevre spoke in haste. She grumbled "I have to do everything around here!" She left to go to the kitchen, but her husband was looking at the white Queen strangely, he scratched his head "Who are you and why you dressed like that?" the Queen just smiled. "I want you out my Maison." He yelled at her.
