Three can keep a secret

Chapter 1

"Jennie leave her alone, she didn't do anything." Yeji said. I had Somi backed up against the wall. "Yes please Jennie listen to her... I promise I didn't say anything.. I would never." She said while crying. I rolled my eyes. I can't believe she is lying straight to my face. "Why are you lying? I have proof that you told Doyeon." I pointed my finger at her chest. There was silence in the room all you could hear was the muffled sound of music. It's graduation night and Somi decided to throw a party for us seniors.

"You told Doyeon? How could you do that." Yeji said as she got up from her spot on the bed. " I wanted to believe that you would actually be good and not say anything, but you did." She walked over to us. " I was on your side, but now I can't even look at you."I back away from Somi and let her get away from the wall. She is crying even harder now seeing her cry had always made me sad, but now I don't feel anything besides anger.

"You guys don't understand.. I had to tell someone it was eating me up inside." Somi said. She opened up her balcony door and went to sit down outside. "You could have just talked to us instead of telling people who don't need to know." Yeji said following her outside. "You know it's your fault that it even happened." I said walking towards Somi. "If you would have just left him alone we wouldn't be in this mess... and now Doyeon is going to tell everyone including the police." I push at Somi.

"Jennie it's don't just her fault we all took part of it.. we witnessed it happen and didn't say anything, because she is our friend." Yeji spoke up, but she was looking at Somi with some kind of comfort in her eyes. "Okay and she is the one that did it not us." I looked back at Somi. "Did you tell her that we were involved or it was just you?" I questioned her. She got up from her seat and started to pace around.

"I told her everything okay and that includes you guys....are you happy now that I told you can you leave me alone now." She walked towards me and pushed me. I stumbled back a little bit. "Happy now how could I be happy you just admitted that you told on us you can ruin our lives." Yeji has a look on her face that has finally shown how she actually feels. "So you want us to not be mad at you and leave this only so what.. you can go back and party?" Yeji said with tears threatening to come out.

"You know what I'm tired of hearing you talk let me go back to the party." Somi said trying to get by me, but I pushed her back towards the railing. "You are the one to talk, you can't keep your mouth shut."I said as I pushed her hard, sending Somi over the edge. "OH MY GOD HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!" Yeji said, running over the railing to see what happened.

The both of us look down and you can see Somi laying on the ground with blood around her head. "We have to leave now Jennie before people come looking." Yeji pulled me inside the house and we quickly got our things and headed down stairs. We walked outside and joined everyone else that was looking at Somi's body. We moved to the front to see Doyeon holding Somi's body crying. "Someone call the ambulance or the police.... do something we can't just leave her here." Someone called the police, because everyone started to run to their cars to leave.

"So girls can you tell me what happened?" The officer asked us. I looked at the officer then behind him to see them put Somi's body in the ambulance. "We were in Somi's room to help her calm down, because someone broke her moms favorite vase." Yeji said. Thank god she said something that was true. I was afraid she would make up a lie. "She was freaking out so we decided to open up the balcony door to let her get some fresh air, and she was drunk. I mean we all were."Yeji said she paused to take a breath trying to fight the tears threatening to come out. "We tried to stop her before she went over the railing Jennie was the one that grabbed her before she fell." The officer looked at me then back to Yeji. "Okay thank you for your guys corporation and I'm sorry for your guys loss."

"Did you see the way that Doyeon was looking at us? Do you think she knows what really happened?" I asked. We are now at my house after we finished talking to the cops. We decided to leave before Somi's family got there. I'm  completely paranoid at this point what if the cops didn't really believe our story. "I don't think she knows what happened to Somi; she could have been doing that, because of the other thing." Yeji said she looked at me with anger on her face. "I don't know why you are looking at me like that. It's not like you tried to help her when she went over you just watched." She got up from her spot on my bed and walked over to me. "You know what the only reason why I lied for you was, because if I told the truth I would also get in trouble for the other thing." She grabbed her things and headed for the door "you know what I think this friendship is over please don't talk to me ever again and before you ask I'm not going to tell anyone what happened." That was the last thing I heard Yeji say to me before she left my life.

So how do you guys like the 1st chapter. Please let me know if there is anything I can improve on in the story. Also I got the idea from @winwinyes on TikTok. I decided to change it up a little bit, but I mainly based it off of that.
