I made sure to wake up early this morning so I could have a head start trying to capture this outlaw known as "Dream", but then I took a minute to think about something. *why did I care so much about some random dude I heard about in the newspaper? * I didn't even know anything about this guy other than that he was a speed runner who happened to go into hiding in my kingdom. I didn't have to care about him. So why did I care so much? Why am I doing this when I can just tell my guards to go get him for me? I mean he's a speed runner, so course I don't want him here... and telling the guards would cause a panic in the village and other people from other villages with come here trying to find him and claim the bounty for themselves.
Usually I would've woken up to the maid coming in and opening the curtains and windows but since I got up earlier, I had to do it myself. (coUGh what peasant work) I stopped in my steps realising breakfast wouldn't even be ready for another two hours, I'll just buy something from one of the market stalls or something like that, after opening the curtains and windows I went to go pick out some clothes, nothing to fancy just a casual shirt and some jeans with a baby pink jacket over it. Most men think that men isn't a very 'manly' colour but I couldn't care less what they thought about a silly colour, I mean I'm in commoners clothing and that's what they all usually wear anyway so they are nobody important enough to judge. I remembered to grab some cash on the way out, not a lot, but it wasn't a little amount. Of course, I didn't take it from our vault who would hide their vault in their room that's the most obvious place that anybody with at least half a brain cell would look.
Walking down the long stairs as quietly as I possibly could do without waking anyone up or disturbing any servants who wear already awake and working preparing for the day ahead. If I got caught by anyone especially in these... clothes, I can't even believe I'm going this far just to catch a stupid speed runner, but if I'm able to catch him my reputation would go up, same with the kingdoms and my money would practically double with the bounty. With that I'd be able to fund repairs on the kingdom walls since the speed runner probably was able to climb over then since they are only three and a half metres, not everyone could climb that but an experienced speed runner would be able to climb that thing in a matter of seconds, plus I'd be able to upgrade my potato farm even more. Was it weird that a king was farming potatoes? Yes, I mean anyone would think I'd not touch dirt with a 10-metre stick, but I can make an expectation if I can sell my potatoes to neighbouring kingdoms for diamonds. Once there was a famine in a few of the kingdoms near ours and of course this made me very rich.
I silently opened the door before sneaking out and wandering down into the village below and of course I went to go get breakfast from one of the many food stalls. The one stall that took my interest the most was selling various stews and soups since I had been there various times. Someone who was also standing at the stand happened to catch my eye, they kept scanning over many of the stalls options, I thought he was trying to steal something so o decided to talk to him to see what he was up to.

I woke up in a river of sweat, last night I had a nightmare of getting caught and beheaded in front of a huge crowd with millions of hunters laughing as they saw my blood splatter on the ground. It was horrifying and it's made me realise wearing my mask isn't safe anymore in case anyone recognises it. As much as it pains me to have to walk around with my face on display for anyone who walks by me to see, I must do it for my own safety. If anyone here has read the local newspaper, they'll know who I am if they see me with that mask on. So, I'll just have to leave if behind. At least I can still wear green since it's not illegal and nobody would be able to tell just by the colour I'm wearing.
A load noise from my stomach Interrupted my train of thought, I forgot to get food while I was out damn it! I got up and change into something they were a lot different than my very warm clothes; it was a t-shirt (green of course) some jeans I bought yesterday, and I decided I'd keep my gloves on just for now. I opened my curtains and window for some light and fresh air, grabbing my wallet and room keys as I walked out before locking my door behind me and walking outside the inn into the town with was still very busy even if it was so early in the morning. I was pretty used to getting up at these times since I used to be on the run every day and only slept the bare minimum.
