The Text

Lia showed me to all my classes and managed to know my life story. On the other hand, I found out that she has an older and a younger brother who tease her like hell and she wants to be a fashion designer when she's older.

Everything has been so crazy, I didn't even realize that my phone was buzzing in my last period. History. Probably the most boring subject of them all. I slide down in my seat to see I have 2 new messages. One is from Lia who said "Hey bby gurl! Lia btw! I stole ur phone when u went to the broom LOL srryyy.." I muffled my giggle and reply with just a laughy face.

The other message is from Ethan. I guess I didn't explain him yet. A few years back, we lived in a small town somewhere in Michigan. It was the second longest time we lived somewhere. I met a boy named... well Ethan if you didn't guess already.

I immediately fell in love with the sweet, sensitive, charming soccer and guitar player. And I'm a sucker for bright blue eyes like his. I never though he would like me back... but nature pulled us apart and I moved to Alaska for one freezing cold month.

We always stayed in touch in hopes of one day meeting up again.

'Hey sweetheart, I know ur in class but I wanted to let you know that I think I've raised enough money to come visit you!' I think my face almost fell off. AHHHH OH MY GODD I missed him so much!! I started mentally planning which movies we were gonna cuddle to.

"Miss McCoy would you care to read that text to the class." Mrs.Lonergan looks at me with a sharp gaze. My cheeks flare at the sound of my name. Heads turn towards me as they see the new girl got in trouble on her first day.

I shook my head.
"Um no thank you mam. I'll just put this away." I start to put my phone in my back but she stops me.

"I would rather if you came up here with me and did so." she points to the floor next to her and crosses her arms. I walk up there with shaky legs and look around. God damnit where's Lia when I need her! I only then notice Dominic at the back of the room looking with his blue eyes into my soul.

"My friend Ethan just texted me hi." I said quietly. Mrs.Lonergan looks down at my phone.

"Oh I think he said more than that." she said in a matter of fact tone. Okay it's official. This betch is screwing me over.

"He said hey sweetheart, I know your in class but I wanted to let you know that I think I've raised enough money to come visit you." I said in an even quieter tone. a few kids giggle and one just plain out laughs. "Its not funny!" I try to defend myself.

"New girls got a lover. Too bad she's mighty fine." A boy next to Dominic says. Dominic high fives him at my reaction. By now my cheeks make tomatoes look pale.

"Mrs.Lonergan may I use the bathroom."

"Yes you may but don't doddle!" She says with a smile. She is a spawn of satan.

I grab my bag and ignore the protests of her and walk for the exit. Not my best first day I'll admit. But I'll leave while I still have my dignity. There was only a few minutes anyway.

I pull my car out of the parking lot and as I pull into the road, I see that boy Dominic watching my car go. Shivers runs down my back. I should start staying away from him.
