Bluebeard awoke from another sleep to images of his daughter, Marie, the only child he couldn't stand to hurt. She'd be long dead by now, but he was certain that she had plenty of descendants. He just never brought himself to check up with them. He was worried that his daughter's immunity wouldn't pass on to them.
"Hey, Bluebeard!" It was Sytry again.
Gilles de Rais sighed, "What?"
"Uncle just told me that he was going to make a contract with one of your great great great great great granddaughters."
"What!" Gilles jumped out of bed and got dressed in seconds. "Which one?"
"That one that lives at your old place." Soon Sytry found himself to be alone. Gilles was storming down the pathway to his old palace.
