HOW INSENSITIVE CAN HE BE, his blonde hair behind his ear and his red nekoma jacket on. Kozume Kenma looked down at his phone as he read the text;
"KOZUME KENMA I LIKE YOU. IVE ALWAYS LIKED YOU. I CAN'T STAND TO JUST BE FRIENDS. PLEASE RESPOND."
He had to respond, f/n told them to respond. What could he say? "Sorry, Thank you but, I apologize, I can't" but no. Kenma's hair moves as his head moves side to side, overthinking what he should type.
"F/N L/N. HELLO, BUT YOU'RE JUST COOL TO PLAY GAMES WITH."
Kenma didn't see anything wrong with his answer, it was straight forward and honest. F/N asked him to respond so they can't be upset with anything he says. That same night, Kuroo was texting the Nekoma Volleyball groupchat. Kuroo was rambling about some girl who asked him out on a date, but he rejected because he was studying for a test that night. Kenma related to what Kuroo said but of course he'd never admit that.
"OK? NO ONE ASKED. SIMILAR SITUATION, F/N SAID THEY LIKED ME (>_>)"
Kenma thought what he said was okay, it was normal. It's not like he insulted F/N.
"F/N L/N?! WHAT DID YOU SAY TO THEM??"
"LEV PLZ STFU.. BUT I TOLD THEM NO BECAUSE I ONLY LIKE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES WITH THEM."
"YOU LET THEM DOWN EASY RIGHT? I CAN'T LOSE F/N THEY HELP ME STUDY BECAUSE THEY'RE FRIENDS WITH THE LAB TEACHER AND COULD GET ANSWERS"
"IS THAT THE ONLY REASON YOU TALK TO THEM KUROO?"
"NO. I REALLY LIKE THEM, THEY'RE CHILL AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR. THEY ALSO KEEP KENMA IN CHECK."
Kenma sent a screenshot from the conversation to the groupchat, completely ignoring what Kuroo and Lev were talking about.
"DUDE?? YOU LET THEM DOWN HARD. COMPLETELY DROPPED THEM"
"FIRST PERSON INTERESTED IN YOU KENMA AND YOU BLEW IT".
Kenma never cared. Kenma doesn't care about love. Why does he feel upset.?
