It was another beautiful day, the sun was shining the birds were chirping, and the flowers were blooming. Choi Seungcheol had just woken up. Getting up, he opened the curtains and the window, inhaling the fresh air before smiling brightly before going to wash up.

He got dressed and fluffed his thick black hair to make it look presentable, and went downstairs to the smell of freshly cooked bacon and eggs.

He childishly hopped to the kitchen and saw his lovely mother placing the food on the table.

Seungcheol hugged her as she smiled brightly and quickly hugged back "Good morning, Mom ~" "Good morning, dear. Hurry up and eat, I'll go wake your dad up" The raven-haired boy nodded his head and started munching on the food.

The last morning before he goes back to the ugly college dorms. Sigh.

Jeonghan groaned as the sunlight seeped through his closed eyelids. Slowly opening his eyes, the long-haired boy sat up with a frown. "What useless curtains," he thought, looking in the direction of his room's window where the see-through curtains were hung.

Smelling himself, he almost gagged. "I should shower," he said to no one in particular, making his way to the bathroom across from his room.

"Occupied!" Jeonghan heard his father say from the other side of the door when he tried to open it. "Dad, hurry!" The brunette said, smiling to himself when he heard shuffling before the sound of the door unlocking.

"It's all yours" his father joked when he walked out and Jeonghan rolled his eyes, finally going to shower and continue getting ready for the day.

Warm showers seemed to be his main source of comfort when he was back home. The clean feeling he'd get after rotting in his room for days was nice. It was peaceful being away from all the books and notes for a bit.

After he was done with his shower, he combed his hair nicely before putting it in a low ponytail, smiling at the mirror at how neat he looked. His life was the furthest from being perfect, but little things like this make his day once or twice.

Jeonghan went downstairs and saw his father cooking breakfast and trying to get ready at the same time "Dad I told you, you don't have to cook breakfast. I can go to the convenience store and get something" the long-haired boy let out a sigh and went to help his father "even if we own a convenience store Jeonghan, it doesn't have good food for your health! You're supposed to have healthy food for a healthy life!"

The boy shook his head at his father and glared at him "Ugh! Don't look at me like that! Your mother does that when she's mad and it's scary" his father shivered remembering his wife's angry face making Jeonghan chuckle "Yeah she's a very scary woman when she's mad" The two smiled at each other and ate the food in silence.

After Jeonghan finished his food he got up and started washing their plates "Need a ride to the dorm?"

"No, it's okay, I can take the bus" his father smiled at his son and Jeonghan gladly returned the smile, not as bright but it was nonetheless beautiful. "I'll get going now, bye" his father nodded in response and Jeonghan finally started making his way back to the dorm for the new school year.

His break was over and uneventful, like usual.

"Crap, I missed the bus" Jeonghan sighed in defeat and sat at the station waiting for the next one to come.
