Hinata POV

I am awake before most people, Kageyama and Yamaguchi are missing but they're probably fine. I might as well slowly wake up the twins so they don't make a scene or something. As I sit up Kei grunts, rolling back over to try and pull me closer.

When he fails his eyes flutter open, they are rimmed red from so much crying the night before but he gives me a soft and tired smile. I give one back, he blushes softly. What a softie, he sits up, it's awkward since he's so much taller than I am. He cups my face in his hands, kissing my nose softly.

He really knows how to make a moment. He really knows how to make me forget my worries. We look simultaneously at the sleeping kids, an unsaid agreement that we should wake them up together. He stretches getting up, his expression returning to his usual salty glare.

Hanako lays limp in his arms, snoring softly. Haru is beginning to wake up, they're both light sleepers but Haru even more so. We walk into the bathroom, Kei carrying two plastic bags. One with our toothbrushes and one with theirs.

We let them change in the bathroom while we change in the bedroom, Haru needs a little help getting his shorts on and Hanako laughs at him. Haru smacks the back of her head with a

"Urusai! just cuz I can't get my shorts on doesn't mean I can take all your air." Haru then starts to breathe heavily, 'taking up her air'. Kei snatches Hanako up before she starts to wail and he starts to laugh. Clever little boy.

I help Haru into his shorts and we're out of here. Why wait for everyone else to wake up when we can all go for a walk. The bane of Kei's existence is that, at the moment, he can't hold the kids hands while we walk.

Hanako is getting there though, it's funny how she inherited more of his physical traits but she acts like a mix of us. Haru looks just like I did when I was a kid but he's salty, he's just like Kei. We actually bought him a shirt that says. "Our little sadist"

We make it to an outdoor volleyball court. A dewy ball sits on the edge of it from being forgotten. I pick it up and toss it in the air a couple times. I'm getting ready to serve it when a cry from behind me makes me drop the ball. Kei is sitting on the ground, looking for the sound. Both kids are also confused.

I walk to the direction of the sound, the other three close behind. Kageyama and Yamaguchi are also dressed in their practice clothes but they are crouched down, Kageyama holding back tears and Yamaguchi failing.

"I just can't believe they didn't tell us, I thought I could trust him. I thought he could trust me. We wouldn't have told, right, Tadashi?" Yams nods, I look back at Kei. He doesn't have any expression but I can tell he's upset. I feel awful, I mean, we couldn't have told them. It might blow our cover but. Of course they think we don't trust them.

God damn it. I watch as they hug each other for a couple more moments. Letting go of the embrace they stand up, we get ready to bolt when Haru walks around the corner. We trusted this one not to blow our cover goddamn it. Hanako wants to follow her brother so she breaks free of my hand and to them.

Unlike Haru, she doesn't just stand and watch them, she runs to hug Kageyama's leg. We step out from behind the corner and they quickly wipe their eyes. An angry look forming on his face. He tries to pull Hanako off of him while she shouts out.

"DON'T CRY MR." and "IT'S OKAY" Kei grabs Haru, who is still staring at them, a judging sneer playing at his lips.

I pull Hanako from his arms.

"Look kags i'm sorry we do trust you b-"

"At the moment we were trying to grow as a family, especially with my dad being sick we weren't ready for anyone to know"

They don't look convinced, Kageyama gives a cold stare towards me and they walk off, Yamaguchi looking back in pity.

The practice match is going to be shit.
