7. Coffee

Another day started with a blaring alarm. I didn't feel well. But Katsuki never lets me get sick. 'Im just going to ignore him for today' I thought to myself. I quietly got dressed and put some makeup on, I went and brushed my hair and teeth, and walked into Katsuki's room "Hey, I'm leaving early, So wake up I will see you at school okay?" I softly said, shaking him "Alright I will see you at school" 

And with that, I left. It was tiring waking up at 4 am every morning so I went to a coffee shop. "Good morning! What can I get started for you?" One of the workers asked "Can I get a caramel latte please" I asked "Of course! What name would you like your order under?" "Bakugo" I simply replied. "Alright Mrs. Bakugo your order will be right out!" she said, 'such fake happiness, it pisses me off' i thought.

I looked around the coffee shop and saw familiar purple hair, I walked over to the table "Good morning Shinsou!" I said, "Oh hello, why are you up so early?" he replied "I could ask you the same thing" I laughed. he chuckled "I couldn't sleep, please sit," He said, I sat down in front of him "Ah, I'm sorry about that, I can give you some concealer for the um dark circles" I offered "Are they that dark? But don't worry I will be fine, thank you for the offer." he smiled 'cute' i thought.

"Order for Bakugo!" 

"That's me! I'll be back." I said getting up and getting my coffee. "Not to pry or anything, but I never got your first name," he said as I sat down "Oh, it's Y/n, sorry for not telling you sooner!" I said "Don't worry about it, what did you order?" he asked looking into my cup, "Just a caramel latte, caramel is my favorite" I laughed "What did you get?" I asked him "Oh just plain black coffee. Do you come to this coffee shop often?" He asked "This is actually my first time here, my brother doesn't like waking up early so I don't usually drink coffee" I smiled "Early being what? 4 am?" he asked chuckling "Hey don't make fun of my sleeping habits!" I pouted

 "Sorry, sorry. I was hoping I could get your number so that we can meet up more. You're really fun to talk to Bakugo." he smiled, my face felt hot "O-of course, and please just call me Y/n" I said smiling. He held out his phone and I typed my number in. When I finished I looked at the time. "Shit! Shinsou we need to go! School is about to start!" I exclaimed getting up and rushing out. He was running out behind me. "Wanna race?" he asked with a smirk "Oh you're on!" I said running away

He won

"Holy shit you're fast!" I complimented, his face dusted with pink "You're pretty fast too, I hope we can talk after school." he said, we both chugged our coffee and walked into the building.

"Mrs. Bakugo where were you? The class starts in 3 minutes!"  Iida yelled, I put a finger up on his lips "Shh, today isn't the day Tenya" his face turned a crimson color. I heard a few of the guys say "Lucky" the entire class saw the interaction. "Where the fuck were you, and why do you smell like coffee," Katsuki asked walking up to me "Katsuki, I told you this morning that I left early, my reasons don't concern you," I said as I walked past him to my seat "What the fuck is wrong with you Y/n TELL ME" he yelled "SHUT UP WILL YOU GO TO YOUR SEAT," I yelled at him.

 Taken aback by the sudden outburst he walked back to his seat. Todoroki looked behind his seat to look at me "Hey meet me after class okay?" he asked, I simply nodded and he turned back to whatever he was doing. 

Before I knew it the entire school day had passed, and I forgot to talk with Todoroki. I saw him in the hallways and waved you him. he mouthed the words 'follow me' and I nodded and continued to walk. He brought me to the side of the school and grabbed my shoulders "I don't usually do this, but you are a fellow classmate. I know we haven't known each other for long. But tell me what's wrong" he said, maintaining eye contact the entire time. "Todoroki, don't worry about me. I'm just upset for no reason, this is common with me, so please don't worry about a thing" I said giving him a smile "Was it about yesterday?" he asked "I see that you wear gloves, what are they for. Are you scared of your quirk?" he asked "I don't want to tell you, everyone I've told usually laughs at me" I said looking away "Y/n look at me, its fine. I'm not like everyone else"

I took off my gloves, scars, burns, and marks are all over them "They are hideous, and its all thanks to this horrible villain quirk" I mumbled "Villain quirk? Who put that into your head?" he asked, he genuinely seemed concerned "I've got to go, this was.. a nice chat Todoroki" I said as I slipped out of his grip and walked away.

"What the fuck were you doing with Icy-hot, y/n," Katsuki asked pushing himself off of the school gate "Oh you know, just a casual make-out session," I said, his eyes widened"IM SORRY WHAT?" he yelled "Katsuki, I was joking with you. Let's go home" I said pulling his arm I got a call "Oh, one-second Katsuki, Ill catch up with you soon" I waved him off. I answered

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked "It's Hitoshi, from the coffee shop" he replied, "I remember haha, anyways did you need anything?" I asked, I heard shuffling from the other end "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with me this weekend?" he asked "Of course, that sounds great! How about we talk later though, my brother is waiting for me" I said "Alright, ill let you go. Talk to you later" he said before he hung up. 

"Who was that?" Katsuki asked, "it was Hitoshi, you remember the 'extra' who thought we were dating?" I chuckled "Oh him, why the fuck were you talking to him?" He asked, "What are you, my dad?" I asked, "I may not be an old fart but I am your brother, so tell me or ill kill you." he threatened "Id rather die," I said as I ran into the house and locked myself into my room. I pulled my diary out of my bookbag:

Dear Diary, Today was shit, but it definitely got better
