Shiro sat alone in his room, like he's done nearly every day since summer vacation started. He recently came out as gay to all his friends and family. No one took the news well, now he's all alone. His short, brown hair was in a tangled mess, his vibrant teal eyes were a dull grey with heavy bags under them. His pale skin glowed a bit in the dim candle light of the dark room as he sat against the wall in the corner, his knees to his chest.
"Shiro?" His mother gently knocked on the door as she pushed it open. Her long, wavy blonde hair cascaded over her shoulders as he frowned as her son. "Shiro, dear, you should go outside. It's a lovely day..." She walked over, gently pulling the dark curtain over to reveal the sun light. Shiro blinked at the brightness and hid his face in his arms.
"Why?" He mumbled, his faint Irish accent cracking a bit. "I don't have anymore friends."
"Are you sure?" She looked down at him with honey brown eyes. "There was a nice young man here earlier asking about you." Shiro glanced up at her, his grey eyes full of confusion. "He said he knows you from school."
Shiro shook his head. "All of my friends left me." He looked down at his bare feet. "Just like dad did..."
"Now, Shiro," His mother spoke firmly, her arms across her chest. "Your father was a no good, self loathing asshole. He was bound to leave anyways, whether your gay or not." She knealt down in front of her son, gently touching his arm. "I'll still love you, dear. Now please, go outside. It'll be good for you to get some fresh air.." She spoke sweetly, only getting a soft nod from the boy.
Once his mother left the room, Shiro slowly hoisted himself up to his feet, walking to his large closet. He took off his sweat pants and over-sized shirt and grabbed his black skinny jeans and a black tank top. He then walked over to his dresser and took out a pair of clean boxer briefs. As he slipped them on, he heard a tap at his window.
"Hmm?" He looked over, confused. "What the fuck?" He walked over to the window when there was another tap. He gently moved the curtain, looking out into the front yard. He felt a lump form in his throat when he seen who it was.
Jet black hair, soul piercing green eyes, a piercing on the left side of his bottom lip, size 00 gauges, a tattoo of skulls inside a fire going up his left arm and another on his right arm of a cheshire cat's grin. He stood at approximatly 6'5". He was wearing a wife beater jacket with a dark blue muscle shirt underneath it, baggy black cargo pants, and vans. He was glaring up at the window and glared harder when he spotted Shiro.
Shiro quickly ducked behind the curtain, his heart pounding in his chest as he remembered the last time he spoke to Venice. He looked down at his chest, the scar still there. He gripped the curtain as he flung it shut, quickly going back to the corner of his room. The swift movement of his curtain blew out the candle that was sitting on his dresser. He felt his breathing hitch as he heard another tap on the window, only this time it was louder than the rest. He closed his eyes tightly, trying to ignore the tapping.
It soon ceased. He let out a sigh of relief. Opening his eyes and slipping on his pants and tank top. He opened his bedroom door, deciding that he'd swiftly run to his bike without being seen by Venice. Well, that was the intial plan...
"Shiro, there you are!" His mother smiled at him. He froze in place when he seen Venice standing in the doorway behind her, smirking.
A moment later, Felix bounded down the stairs, grabbing Shiro by the arm. Shiro looked at his brother, slightly shocked. "C'mon, Shiro!" Felix grinned as he pulled Shiro into the kitchen and out the back door.
Venice glared, mentally cursing. Felix was always getting in his way. Always protecting that brat brother of his. He hated them both. He smiled sweetly at their mother as he pouted a bit.
