Acp pradyuman : ( in a loud tone ) Abhijeet.

He looked here and there and found himself in his own house. Some drops of sweat still covering his face. He drank the water in one go. He was feeling like something is not right.

Acp pradyuman : ( thinking )

Sapna tha.

Pata nahi aisa kyu lag raha hai ki kuch bura hone wala hai wo bhi Abhijeet ke saath aur ye sapna.

After few minutes , he calmed down. He then tried to sleep but every time he tried to sleep again the same scene of Abhijeet shooting himself came in front of eyes. He finally woke up with a jolt.

Acp pradyuman : ( thinking )

Mujhe to sirf aaj hi neend nahi aa rahi hai lekin mere bacche ne na jane kitni raatein aise hi kaati hai wo bhi akele. ( Refer to nightmares which Abhijeet used to get in the initial days of his joining in cid. )

Itne saal to usne akele hi guzarein hai lekin ab nahi. Use mai ab humesha apne saath hi rahne ke liye bol dunga, apne se dur nahi jaane dunga. Apni nazroon se ojhal nahi hone dunga.

He went , picked the picked the photo frame of Abhijeet and placed it near his heart.

The whole night he was stayed awake. He freshen himself and went to bureau having rays of hope.

In bureau he came to know from Daya about the Sudha ' s husband and he had sent his men to kill Abhijeet and two babies as well. His heart skipped a beat.

Daya was about to go inside forest , when Acp pradyuman said " Ruko Daya. Mai bhi chal raha hu tumhare saath. "

Daya : Sir aap yahi par rukiye. Waise bhi kalse aapki tabiyat thik nahi hai.

Acp pradyuman : Nahi Daya. Mai chal raha hu tumhare saath and its final.

Daya reluctantly let him come with himself.

The team along with Acp pradyuman went inside forest and were searching madly for Abhijeet.

On the Abhijeet ' s side , he woke up and found two babies along with him. He tried to get up but the bullet wound was creating clutter for him. He clutched the wound with his hand and was feeling extreme pain. He searched his pockets for mobile but and gun but got empty pockets.

He took out his coat and wrapped it around his bullet wound and with difficulty bend down and picked up the two babies in his hands.

The moment he picked up the babies , he listened the sound of rustling of leaves. He became alert. He then hid himself around trees in forest but at the same time , one of the babies started crying. Listening the crying of baby a goon came there. Abhijeet kicked him and goon fall down on floor. The goon was wincing in pain. Hearing the voice of goons a number of goons came there.

Abhijeet placed babies on ground at safer distance from the goons and then went to fight with goons. The goons were almost knocked off. When a goon came and kicked him exactly on the place where bullet had hit him. He fall down on floor having hand on wound as feeling pain in wound. The goon was about to fire a bullet on Abhijeet but at the same time a bullet sound and goon fall down on floor.

Abhijeet looked towards the source of bullet , he found it none other than Acp pradyuman. He was trying to get up at the same time Acp pradyuman came and helped him to get up.

Abhijeet was panting because of fight with the goons, starvation from two days and the blood loss from the wounds.

Acp pradyuman felt better after looking Abhijeet in front of eyes but the moment was short lived as he saw bullet wound , wounds on his face and other wounds.

Acp pradyuman : Tum thik to ho na beta ?

Abhijeet just hold his hands to assure him and pantingly said " Ha sir. Mai mai b theek hu. "

He took a pause and said " Wo bacche. "

Acp pradyuman uttered " Bacche. "

Abhijeet : ( fumbling ) Wo bacche idhar. Is taraf.

While they were going to place , at a point Abhijeet felt like his body is not supporting him and he was about to fall when two hands came supporting him. Acp pradyuman hold him in his hands.

Acp pradyuman : Beta tum yahi par aram karo. Daya aur Purvi tum dono jakar dekho aas pass kahi bacche dikhayi dete hai kya .

Daya , Purvi : Yes sir.

Both of them were about to leave when Abhijeet balanced himself and said " Sir mai bhi chalta hu. "

Acp pradyuman glared him hard and then turned towards Purvi and Daya and ordered them " Tum dono jakar dekho bacchon ko. "

Both Purvi and Daya left leaving Acp pradyuman and Abhijeet there.

Abhijeet : Sir mai ..

Before Abhijeet could speak , Acp pradyuman said " Mai bikul theek hu. Bas thodasa chakkar hi aa gaya tha. "

Abhijeet was about to speak something but stopped after getting tough gaze from Acp pradyuman.

Acp pradyuman : Baith paoge ?

Abhijeet : Sir aise hi .

He kept quiet as pair of strict eyes were gazing at him. Acp pradyuman then made him sit carefully without hurting his wound , his back aand then called the ambulance. As he took a glance of Abhijeet , he found a tear drop falling from Abhijeet ' s eyes and his another hand was on his bullet wound and from his facial expressions he was looking in pain. Unknowingly a tear drop escaped from Acp pradyuman ' s eye. He wiped the tear drop without notice of anyone. He bend down near Abhijeet and his hand went on Abhijeet ' s hair.

Acp pradyuman : Jyada dard ho raha hai kya ?

Abhijeet closed his eyes as feeling Acp pradyuman ' s hand over his head and with closed eyes said " Nahi. "

Acp pradyuman then took out bottle of water.

Acp pradyuman : Abhijeet.

Abhijeet opened his eyes as heard fatherly figure calling him and the magical touch on his hairs was not there.

Acp pradyuman attached water bottle to abhijeet ' s lips.

Abhijeet was about to protest but he let Acp pradyuman do the things in his way. Abhijeet now feeling better because of water. He was trying to get alert and was about to get up.

Acp pradyuman : Chup chap baithe raho tum.

He then continued the work of moving his hand in Abhijeet ' s hair.

Abhijeet : wo dono bacche.

Acp pradyuman : ( assuring him ) Daya aur Purvi gaye hai na unhe dhundne. Mil jayenge bacche.

Abhijeet was now feeling drowsy as his brain got relaxed that team is there and they will find out the two small babies.

At the same time , Acp pradyuman ' s phone rang. It was of Daya informing him that the babies were not found. After he kept the call,

Abhijeet : ( in a hopeful tone ) Wo bacche mil gaye kya ?

Acp pradyuman : Nahi beta.

Abhijeet now was becoming hyper, and said " Kya ? "

Seemed like he was getting a shock.

Acp pradyuman : Shant ho jayo. Purvi dhund rahi hai bacchon ko jungle ke dusri taraf.

Still Abhijeet was getting restless.

Abhijeet : ( his voice becoming low ) Abhi tak nahi mile bacche.

Bacche.

( in a almost inaudible tone ) Bacche.

His neck was dangling in odd manner and his eyes closed. Acp pradyuman saw the awkward position of Abhijeet and made his position correctly and then patting his cheeks.

No response from Abhijeet.

A loud shout escaped from his mouth " Abhijeet. "
