Chapter 1

Adeline had the typical California life. She had the perfect boyfriend the perfect hair the perfect everything.

One day, Adeline came home from school to find a red skirt, a black top, a long necklace, and roses on her bed. There was also a note that said,

"I'll pick you up at 6:00"

Adeline thought to herself about how lucky she was to have Xander in her life. She then snapped out of it and realized she needed to get ready. For once she didn't have any homework so she decided to go take a shower. She got in the shower and used her usual lush shampoo and conditioner. Then she used the Paris scented bath and body works shower gel. She got out of the shower and threw on a Nash Grier t-shirt that her grandma got her for her birthday. She never really liked any of the Magcon boys but she never payed attention to them either. After Adeline changed she went downstairs to get a glass of water and a granola bar since it was only 5:00 and she was starving. Adeline went back to her bedroom and started to get ready. She put on some foundation, concealer, mascara, blush, and a little bit of eyeshadow. After Adeline was finally done with her make up she brushed out her hair and put in some loose curls. She put on her new outfit Xander got her and added black heels because she is 5"2 and 16. She then looked in the mirror and thought dang my boyfriend has great taste. She looked at the time and saw she still have about 15 minutes so she brushed her teeth and went on social media. On Twitter she saw a bunch of tweets that said "Nash is moving?" "Nash is coming to Cali?!" It was Twitter so she didn't really believe it and kept scrolling. It was 5:58 when she heard Xander's car pull up. He got out and knocked on the door. Adeline was kinda nervous even though they had been on plenty of dates before. She answered the door and Xander said,"Hello beautiful." Adeline was never the kind of person who blushed so she responded with her usual happy self "Hey!" Xander had a grey 2010 mustang that he loved. Adeline didn't mind the car either. He opened the door for her just like a gentlemen and closed it after her. He then got in the car and told her they were going to Starbucks then to look at Christmas lights along the beach. Adeline was so excited because she hasn't had a chance to look at Christmas lights and Christmas is only seven days away. They pulled up to Starbucks and both her and Xander got hot chocolate. They drove about 10 minutes blaring the music as loud as they possibly could. They pulled up to the beach and got out. They walked across the board walk and talked about how excited they were for Christmas. About an hour and a half later they decide to go home. Xander waited for her to go inside before he drove off. It was now winter break so Adeline was free to hang out with her friends and Xander for two weeks straight. Adeline woke up the next day and needed to go last minute Christmas shopping. Adeline and her two friends Bailey and Mackenzie went to the mall. Adeline needed to get something for her younger sister Mallory. Mallory is in seventh grade so Adeline went to Aeropostale and got her 1 sweater a pair of leggings and boot socks to go with it. Bailey and Mackenzie picked up a couple things for their siblings and they all left to go home.
