Chapter 2

The next few days pass by and everything was hectic. People were setting up for Christmas every where you turned. But it was finally Christmas Eve and Adeline was going out for breakfast with Xander. They were exchanging small gifts too. Adeline had secretly bought Xander a watch, a sweatshirt, and cologne. She had wrapped it all up in Christmas wrapping and put a bow on it.

When Adeline woke up she looked at the time and it was 8:00. She rolled out of bed and took a shower. After she got out of the shower she blow dried her hair and put on foundation, concealer, blush, mascara, and eyeshadow. She then decided to curl her hair and pull it half up half down by the time she was done with her shower hair & makeup she looked at the time. It was 9:00 and she was meeting Xander at ten. Adeline could not decide what to wear so finally after debating back and forth she choose her black skater skirt with a red sweater. She then put on her regular black heels and brushed her teeth. Adeline grabbed her purse and phone then headed down stairs. It was now about 9:10 and she didn't have to leave for twenty minutes. She went on her phone for about 15 minutes before she realized she had no idea where her keys were. She ran up in her room and looked there to find out no sign of keys. She looked in the key bowl and no sign of keys. Adeline searched her whole purse and still no sign of keys. It was now 9:27 and she had to be out the door by 9:30 to be on time. Adeline checked every coat, purse, pocket yet still no sign of keys. Adeline had one minute before she would for sure be late when she decided to check in her bed. And yet still no sign of keys. It wasn't until until after she turned around and saw her keys behind her laundry hamper. That she could take a breath and not worry. She ran out the door and started her car up and headed to first watch to meet Xander since it was California there is always traffic. She met Xander and was surprisingly only five minutes late. They got a table and she ordered a chocolate chip pancake and and egg. Xander ordered the same thing except with a side of bacon. Before their food came they decided to exchange gifts. Adeline gave Xander his gift first. He opened the sweatshirt first and absolutely loved it. After that he opened the cologne and then the watch. Xander was so excited! He gave Adeline her presents next. She opened up the first gift and it was a sliver necklace that said "Adeline". Adeline was so excited because she had always wanted a necklace with her name on it. the next gift was a Victorious Secret PINK half zip. there was one more gift that was a Victorious Secret PINK skater dress.

After they finished exchanging gifts and saying thank you their food came. They were both starving and devoured their food in 10 minutes. After they finished their food they left and both went home. Adeline always celebrates Christmas with her dads side earlier and her moms side later. she was already ready so she decided to go to Starbucks and get a drink. She took her sister with her because she figured she hasn't talked to her in a while. They had small talk and finally got to Starbucks. They both ordered a vanilla bean Frapuccino. Adeline and her sister arrive home to find out...
