The both of you proceeded to walk, taking the stairs. The three of you walked past another door one by one. You found yourself in a small room, few buttons on the ground in the right side, a switch in the wall.

"Welcome to your new home, innocent ones. Allow me to educate you in the operation or the ruins." Toriel said and walked over a few buttons and flipped the switch. The door at the end of the room opened.

"The ruins are full of puzzles. Ancient fusions between diversions and door keys. One must solve them to move from room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them."

You nodded, wondering what the next puzzles will be. The goat and the child proceeded on walking past the door, you following from behind. "To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches. Do not worry, I have labeled the ones that you need to flip."

You and Frisk moved forward behind the kind woman. You followed the child flip the switch labeled by Toriel. After that, the three of you walked passed a bridge. You and the child approached another switch. Frisk signals you to flip the switch with a smile. You needed and carefully flipped the switch.

"Splendid! I am proud of you, little ones. Let us move to the next room."

You all walked passed a metal trap whose spikes are now gone. The three of you appeared in a small room with a weird dummy at the center of the right.

"As a human living in the underground, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation.

However, worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a fight. While you are in a fight, strike up a friendly conversation. Stall for time. It will come to resolve the conflict. Practice talking to the dummy."

The long explaining made you a little bit sleepy. But you try not to show it to respect the monster helping you. You and Frisk approaches the dummy. The same thing happened.

* You encountered the dummy.

The child touched the act button, then dummy. There were two options, check and talk. They chose the talk one. "Hello." Was all they said. Toriel seems happy. It was your turn. You did the same as the child. "..How are you?" You feel awkward.

The fight ended. Toriel is really happy with the both of you. "Ah, very good! The both of you are very good." She said and walked past the door behind her. You and the child followed her from behind. "There is another puzzle in this room, wonder if you could solve it?"

Toriel walked forward to this large hallway whose different parts of the walls are covered with green leaves. You followed from behind. Suddenly, a monster showed up.

* Froggit attacks you!

Slightly feeling the panic rise onto your head, you touched the act button. Check, threat, compliment. You chose not to be rude and decided to compliment Froggit. "U-um.. You look nice.." 'God please help me' You screamed internally. Apparently, Toriel intervened with the fight and shot Froggit with a glare. The small monster backed out.

You sighed in relief.

The three of you gone back to your ways. "This is the puzzle but..." She stopped for a bit. "Here, take my hand for a moment." The child held the large paws from behind, while you just looking at them. The child turned their head to you and reached a free hand. Hesitantly, you gently held the human's small hand.

The three of you walked. Toriel is letting her fet down to the dangerous puzzle, the spikes automatically going down. You then gripped the child's hand more tightly, the thought of stepping in the wrong path frightens you. Gladly, the three of you have made it past the puzzle. "Puzzles seem a little too dangerous for now." Toriel said, averting her eyes away.
