Commentary:
Riori Desdemonia is a Dragon. I decided to change her up since I hadn't done that in years and I didn't like her original design very much. So, I decided I would give it more color. The only thing that really stayed (color-wise) was her blue hair and purple eyes. I wanted to keep her outfit kinda similar to the original, but I gave her earthy tones and a lot of warm grey tones. I also thought that a velvety purple corset would add a little pop, but not too much. I also HAD to keep the horns and the wings. Her original concept had fake wings, but I don't remember when they became real.
Since she's a dragon, I never really gave her an age, but she was always supposed to appear older than an 18 year old. I didn't know how to do that in middle school/early high school, so I made her look like a stereotypical waifu. This time, I decided to make her body more voluptuous and a little more on the plus-size spectrum and I think she also looked a lot more mature and older. I also get this feeling of like, physical prowess when I look at her now, almost in a sense of "motherly masculinity" is how I want to describe it.Also, since she works as a mechanic, I wanted her clothes to somewhat match that of her job.
