Years had passed since the Ultimatum wave had struck New York, killing off many of its heroes. The remaining ones only to be killed by their enemies in the coming days. Their greatest heroes, Spider-Man, most of the X-Men, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, all dead. The person to blame is not who they think is to blame, is now dead. The remaining heroes are now back on their feet, the greatest, Captain America, overseas with Iron Man and Thor.

"Alright Tony, open the door." Steve said looking at Tony. He only nodded before digging his fingers into the metal door and ripped it from its hinges, throwing it across the snowy plain of Moscow Russia. Cap had been here before. During the Galactus incident. "Keep your eyes open." Cap said. The patriot walked forward, Iron Man and Thor following. "Should be this way." Steve said as he took a right, the two still following. Thor noticed a cell, a very dark one, with a silhouetted figure sitting in the corner. "Steve. Look." He said as he pointed Mjolnir at the cell. The leader of the Ultimates slowly turned to the cell, and walked up to it bravely. The figure suddenly sprang up, and wrapped his hands around the bars. "The Ghosts! They're coming for us! On fire! I saw one!" He screamed. Agony in his voice. "Please help us!..." He shouted as he extended an arm out to Cap. This was one of the failed super soldiers russia had produced. Cap merely looked down and looked back at him. "I'm sorry." He said as he slowly pushed his hand back in. "I will come back for you." He said. "See Thor, that is how you talk to someone." Tony said to the God with a smile under his helmet. "C'mon you two." Cap said. Iron Man activated his thrusters and flew toward the patriot, Thor swinging his hammer and starting to fly with it. They hear clanging of chains, footsteps. "I think the man was right." Thor said looking around. "You aren't afraid of any ghosts now, are you, Thor?" Iron Man asked trying to ease up the mood a little. "Verily. Asgard has told many tales of such. Fallen warriors." Thor replied to Iron Man's question. They then pass a hallway, Iron Man seeing something on the far end. "Guys, look." He said somewhat scared. He pointed a finger down the hallway, Cap backing up a bit. A black figure, white head, on fire. He was moving slowly, like a zombie. Limping as he walked. They walked slowly down the hallway, trying to follow the figure. "Um, sir?" Iron Man asked a little too loudly. "Tony!" Cap yelled at him. The figure slowly turned around to look at them. His head was a skull. On fire, wearing a leather jacket. They slowly approached each other. "Y-You're Captain America." He said somewhat shocked. "Yes." The patriot said scared. He walked forward, Iron Man and Thor following before Cap gestured for them to back away. "Let me handle this." He said walked in front of him. "I could sense your soul, but I never imagined it was you out of all people." The skeleton asked. "What's your name?" Cap asked him. "Johnny Blaze. But you can call me the Ghost Rider."
