I woke up and lani wasn't next to me, I got up hearing the shower trying to figure out why she is up so early. The shower stopped and she walked out the bathroom with a towl on, "what you up so early for lani?"

"August and kid invited us to ihop so I advise you to get ready"
"Why didn't you tell me earlier" I started to panic, "girl just get dressed you got 30 mins".
I hopped in the shower washing my hair and leaving it curly when I got out. I had on black cargo shorts, a black batman shirt with the white batman sign on it and my all white 11"s.

Lani tried to match me she had on some black shorts and a white crop top and her Oreo 5's. "So you tryna match me now" I questioned with a smirk, "girl naw lets go before we be late".

We got in the car as I pulled off, when we got to ihop we went inside and seem kid wave us all the way to the back.
"Wassup lani" he said hugging her and "hi lay" he said hugging me nigga already know my nickname already.

August stood up hugging me with his shades on inside...😑 we sat down and orderd our food and this disrespectful ass waitress was flirting with August right infront of me I mean I shouldn't be mad he isn't mines. He didn't flirt back instead he squeezed my thigh because I guess he could tell I was irritated by her ass.

He just said that's all we want bye can u go put our orders in so we can eat, I laughed because she had the dl. We all chatted and all that good stuff. I took August glasses off so I can look into his eyes when he talked then kid childish ass gone say awwweew so cute, but all I wanted to do was read him and see what he is about.

Alaysia was just so bubbly and nice and she seemed so different and wasn't like no other girls I met.

ALAYSIA P.O.V
" So lay and lani tell us a little about yourselves" August said as I choked on my juice.
"Well we are from N.O we graduated high school together and we have known each other basically our whole lives" lani said .
" No family or brothers or sisters or moms and dads" kid asked
"No" we said lowly but in usion.

August and kid looked back at each other and just nodded slowly. "Tell us about yourself"i said. "Welllll me and kid met in high school too but, I dropped out and he graduated but then we met again and I was a troubled teen I was in the game and stuff like that.My brotha was my partner even tho he wanted me out the game because that's not the life he wanted me live, so I decided to get out the game and my last day I was working a different corner from Mel which is my brotha and uh I heard gun shots so I ran and I, I, I seen my brotha on that ground and he died instantly.

We got these tattoos together that says self made on our sideburns which means nigga just go out their and do it and my brotha wanted me to be somebody and not be like him and stay in the game so that's why I'm in this music shit for my brotha and his three daughters and my momma and myself so I can provide for myself and my family they ain't catch who killed my brotha and he ain't get no justice but it's all good I just know my brotha watching over me and his three and my momma keeping us all safe".

By the end of I that aug glasses where back on cuz I guess he ain't want us to see him cry.

"Excuse me imma go to the bathroom"
" Is he going to be ok?"
"Yeah he just real sensitive about his brotha I'm surprised he told you he is real to himself I think he rally likes you lay so you should reach out to him " I nooded because I wanted August I liked him I just didn't kno if he felt the same way about me.
