                1st year at Hogwarts
"Cassie! Cassie! Cassie! Wake up!!!"

My eyes shot open and I immediately jumped out of bed. I grabbed her shoulders and shook her

"Bloody Hell Hallie, what in the bloody world?!"

"Today's the day!"
it took me a moment to process what she had just said to me but when it did, let me tell you I was over the moon. I just stood there, squealing with my twin sister for a good minute until we came back to reality, finally we both raced downstairs. Anna, my mum, was making lunches for the train and Charlie, my older brother of 14, was making eggs and toast.

I looked around the small but warm and cozy house and took a deep breath. Today was my first day at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and wizardry. Usually I'd be nervous about such a thing, but I knew that Hallie would always be going through the same things. Some people don't really have a strong relationship with their siblings, but I'd like to think that I have the strongest.

Our family is very close friends with the Weasley family, we always play quidditch together and not to brag or anything but I'm really good. Hallie, Charlie, Peyton and I (Peyton is my younger brother and so far the youngest Adams) can out play Ron, Ginny, Fred, and George at quidditch  any day.

Along with the younger Weasly's, Hallie and I are very close friends with Luna Lovegood. She is also one of our neighbors (like the Weasleys) and I just love listening to her mesmerizing voice. Hallie thinks she's odd but I think she's perfect. Luna, me and sometimes Ginny and Hallie like to lay under the stars at night and point out constellations.

This is Hallie and I's first year at Hogwarts but Ginny and Luna still have one more year before they can go. Anyway, the point is that I have never been alone my whole life, and I don't want that to change. I know I may have my whole life planned out for me, but I don't hate what my life is supposed to be, I actually like it.

"Leland Ronald Adams, you get your butt off of that couch right now and take the kids to the station!"

I could hear my mother yell all the way from upstairs and I knew that I would be next if I didn't hurry. I shoved everything I had from my favorite chocolate frog card to an entire closet, into my trunk.

Wet hair and all, I scurried downstairs and hungrly grabbed the eggs and toast Charlie had made for me and scarfed  it down.

Before I could refuse, my mum started yanking at my hair as she tried to brush out the silky black tangles. Even though my hair is shoulder length, it is still some of the thickest hair one could ever encounter. Hallie's hair is longer, curlier, and thinner, like our mother but I got my dads genes, with straight and thick hair.

"Ouch!"

I delt with this kind of pain almost every day but it never stops hurting! She finally ended with a red and yellow clip near my hair line, obviously to represent gryffindor colors, and sent me and my sister off to the car.

Reminder: All of the characters and places besides the Adams family belong to J.K Rowling
