I feel myself drifting away, like when you have a dream that you're falling and even when you've woken you're still plummeting back to Earth; that's how it feels. Everything is Polaroid white, not cold, nor warm: just nothing. My ears feel clogged and all sound is muffled but, I hear something. Someone has broken down the door! Oh, God! I hear an excessive amount of chatter and an even brighter light flickers over my face. "She's not dilating," a female voice says. "We need a defibrillator stat!" She places the pads on my chest, they feel cold (I think). I'm now lying on my bathroom floor, wrapped in a towel to remain somewhat unexposed (thanks...). "Clear!" The medic yells. A jolt runs through me and I see a flash. "Clear!" She says once more. "C'mon kid stay with me!" She pleads. I feel a rush once again, except this time I not only see brightness, but memories. They fly by as though I were watching a movie of my own life inside of my mind; to only be seen by me. It's amazing how hectic the environment is and yet, I feel so calm, flushed away of all the worry, pain, and sorrow. Whilst being washed over with peace and serenity, I had nearly forgotten about the craziness consuming me at this very moment. It's astounding how far this has come from where I began; if only I had known.
