Jason
Cassie pulled into her driveway of her large ass McMansion™ and parked. Before I could even speak she had dragged me past her mom and up the stairs into her room."Okay, plan of action! Seduce my brother is a go." Cassie looked determined to get me and her brother together, no matter how unlikely that might seem. I sighed, wishing I was at home in my grandmother's study. It's a loft type area in the attic that I absolutely love. I keep the entrance hidden so no one will go up there.
I know for a fact her stuff would be thrown out in an instant. Yeah, my mom thought grandma was crazy, and wanted anything from her gone.
Quite sad, really. I shook my head, dismissing the thoughts and focused back on Cassie."-and you'll be thrown on his lap! How does that sound?" She looked very excited, her eyes wide and full of sparkle. She's always very optimistic and full of life while I on the other hand am usually quite meh. I'm trying though so yay, progress. I looked back at Cassie and she narrowed her eyes."You didn't hear a single thing I said did you." Her tone suggested she already knew the answer, and her body language looked like she was ready to kill me. I ran out the door laughing, as she was chasing after me.
"Jason!" Cassie was screaming, drawing attention while I was looking for a place to hide.
The adrenaline flowed through me as I ran up the stairs and into a room at the end of a hallway. I quickly turned and locked the door before heaving a sigh a relief and looking at my surroundings. I looked at the large bed in the corner then to the cherry wood desk looking out the window before I felt a wave of dread wash over me. I slowly put the pieces together as realization dawned on me: I had ran into a bedroom, a wolf's den.
While said wolf was still in it. I hesitantly backed up slowly, looking for any sign that the large mass in the bed was awake. I almost made it to the door but of course, that would have been too easy. The floor beneath me creaked out a loud groan, instantly gaining the attention of the figure, Caden, now laying up in his bed. I looked at him and made a shh sign with my hand. I listened, hearing for the loud footfalls of Cassie before letting out a breath and walking to the bed.
"So, I uh, good afternoon?" I awkwardly croaked, not quite knowing how to explain myself. Caden kept quiet eye contact with me, almost as if he was judging my reactions."I didn't mean to wake you, but Cassie had been chasing me and I kinda just, uh, well yeah I guess you can see what happened." I rubbed my neck, cheeks ablaze and ears red. 'This is so embarrassing.'
"Sorry if I caused any trouble, but she's gone so I'm going to leave now, but thanks for letting me hide?" I quickly stumbled over the last sentence before rushing to get out of the older, more dominant male's room. I didn't start breathing again until I was well away from his door. I found Cassie in the kitchen with our Luna, Cassie's mom. I smiled politely at her while Cassie looked ready to murder me.
"Good afternoon Luna. How are you?" I quietly made my way past them as Cassie kicked me in the shin. I winced but covered it while grabbing a cup and some juice."Jason you know you can call me Marissa. You are practically family after all." She smiled brightly at me, and went back to cutting up some vegetable.
"Ah, let me help." I quickly grabbed an apron and started browning the meat."Jason, you don't have to do that." Marissa looked over while I had lit the range."No it's fine! I like cooking and it's the least I can do. I know wolves eat quite a lot." I laughed as she sighed and gave up on trying to get me to sit down.
"You are going to have one lucky mate. After all, the only way to a man's heart is through his stomach. How else do you think I bagged Cassie and Caden's father?" I turned bright as a tomato as Cassie and Marissa laughed."I think, you bagged me because of this little thing called mateship." The alpha came in to the kitchen smiling bright with a twinkle in his eye. I continued to cook with Marissa as she and Alpha Quinn made small talk.Caden
I passed out as soon as I got home. Being a young adult is hard. I went past my mom who was doing housework and crashed on my bed. The only thing waking me later was a small creak from in my room. I sat up in bed, looking around before settling my eyes on the culprit. Before me was my tutor/Sister's boyfriend/not boyfriend.
He looked at me and held up his hand in a shushing motion concentrating on the door. He blushed a lot. My wolf was upon the surface taking in every detail of the smaller male. He had a slim build, not a lot of muscle definition but some, A lip piercing and ear gauges, both of which complemented his porcelain complexion. I looked away, knowing my wolf wanted to look lower and admire more. I cleared my throat, and he stuttered over his words, clearly embarrassed before bolting out of my room. I shook my head, jumping from my bed to go shower and clean up. By the time I finished, dinner was almost done, so I walked quietly downstairs. The smells coming from the kitchen were heavenly, and I walked to the entrance before stopping dead in my tracks.'Why is he wearing an apron?'
'Not that you nor I don't admire it.' My wolf butted in, growling low."-And he almost flew forward into the garage!" Cassie finished off in hysterics while Jason was chuckling."It wasn't my fault that someone decided not to put the car into reverse." He stuck his tongue out and Cassie responded in kind. When he walked around to put the flour up he sneakily tickled Cassie on her neck, causing her to burst out laughing. I was quietly laughing to myself in the doorway, watching the show."I'm not the only one with a ticklish spot though~!" Cassie singsonged."Wait, Cassie no I'm carrying-" Cassie didn't let Jason finish as she attacked his sides, making him shake with laughter. While the flour flew up and came back down on top of both of them, ending in a white out. Mom quickly stepped in, as did I to help assess the damage."Cassie! I told you I had flour." Jason whined as he shook his head. Cassie was laughing hysterically at the mess."Worth it!" I looked at our mom as she was smiling but shaking her head slightly."Caden, give Jason a towel and lead him to your bathroom. Cassie, you get to clean this up then go shower." She walked to the closet and handed her the broom. Cassie grumbled about it not being fair and I laughed until I remembered I had to go take Jason.
To take a shower.
In my bathroom.
