As I followed Hauptmann Dieter, I suddenly heard that oh-so-awful sound of tracks in our direction. "Herr Hauptmann Dieter!" "Yeah-vu," he asked, "Russian tanks!" I yelled. As fast as lighting, his face paled, "Do we have any anti-tank weapons?" he demanded, a few people held up an anti-tank mine, others held up those stielhandgranate. Dieter decided that we'll run away, no one objected, suddenly machine-gun fire ran out, everybody ducked, but a few unlucky people got riddled with machine-gun fire. We returned fire, some went around the positions and threw a few stielhandgranate at the fox holes, they stopped firing, we quickly retreated in fear of more Russians coming into our vicinity.
3rd person view:
At the Soviet HQ where Colonel Igor was talking to Captain Maxim, the Captain just reported that there was a marauding group of Germans, they didn't dare to say the name Dieter, the German captain held off a Russian attack of Russians with only a few grenades and an MP40 submachine gun. Legend says that he killed a High ranking Russian General in front of a crowd and ran away with barely a scratch. Everyone feared him, and all wanted him dead. So Colonel Igor delegated Maxim to hunt him down and bring him, prisoner, "No killing Dieter!" Igor reminded Maxim. After that, he dismissed Maxim. As Maxim got on a T-34-76, he muttered to himself, "Hope that I will sacrifice myself for MoThEr RuSsIa!!!"
