♡ Chapter Two ♡

The girls and I all walked while chatting on the way to our classes. 'OMG, what losers are hanging out with the new girl?', someone said with a sly tone. We turned around and saw a few girls laughing. 'Yeri and Rosé', Nayeon said with an annoyed look. 'Who are they?', I whispered over to Mina. 'They're the rudest stepsisters that you'll ever meet. They hate each other but work together to make people's lives a living hell', she replied while turning to face the two girls. I nodded and just stood behind Tzuyu. She's tall so I can easily hide behind her. 'Is the new girl shy for us? We don't bite', Yeri said in a sarcastic way, folding her arms and smirking.

'Oh please, just leave us alone. This is none of your business you brats!', Dahyun shouted and walked with the girls to class. 'Urggghh!', I heard Rosé scream while Yeri was calming her down. I just ran over to my new friends with an afraid but happy smile.

We walked to our classroom. I'm really lucky that Sana is in the same class as me because I would've been alone. And that's not the best on your first day. But anyway, Sana went to her seat but there was a boy next to her so I couldn't sit there. The teacher came in and noticed me.

'You must be Y/N right?', he asked as he put his bag by his desk. I nodded and he asked me to introduce myself to the whole class. Fiddling with my fingers, I walked to the front of the class and started talking.

'Hi everyone. My name is Lee Y/N, I hope that we can have a good year together', I said with a smile and the teacher then looked at me. 'I'm Mr Kang, your History teacher. Now let's find a seat for you.' He looked around and pointed to an empty seat next to a boy.

'Looks like Jimin is lonely', he said with a chuckle and the class laughed. 'You can sit by him'

I nodded again and walked to the empty seat. 'Hi Y/N. Nice to meet you', Jimin spoke while his hand was out for me to shake. 'Hi', I replied with a smile and shook his hand. We turned to the front of the class and stared at the teacher. Mr Kang started teaching, 'So in World War 1, who can tell me what....'

Lunchtime arrived and we all gathered in the cafeteria. I was eating my sandwich when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned around and looked up to see the face of the person. It was Jimin, the boy I sat next to.

'What's up?', I said as calmly as I could trying not to show my nervousness. The boy's hot, you know? You can't blame me for getting nervous.

'There's a team project that we have to do and I was wondering if you'd like to join my team?', he talked while fiddling with his fingers. I came late to school so that's probably why I didn't know about it.

I was nervous to say yes so I said, 'I'll join my friend's team if that's okay?', looking up at him. 'Sorry Y/N but we're full. We can only have 8 members in a team but we asked the teacher if we could have an extra one because we didn't want Mina to be alone', I heard Chaeyoung say out of the blue.

'Ok then, I'll join Jimin's team', I said without hesitating. 'Great', he replied and left our table.I turned back to face the girls and all of them had sly smiles on their faces. 'What?', I asked confused. 'You just got into one of the hottest boy's teams girl', Tzuyu laughed. 'I'm so jealous', Momo said sadly while the others laughed at her. I laughed as well and we continued eating our lunch.
