Donald Duck and his sister Daphne Duck were raising their sister, Della Duck's, kids. They were triplets and they don't even remember their mom. They weren't going to give up the boys so they could stay together. Daphne and Donald cared a lot for the boys. The boys were happy and healthy little boys. The boys were also loved.
Early one morning, the boys were playing in the living room. They were all waiting for breakfast to be made. They didn't have a lot of toys so they had to share their toys with each other. They were siblings and they always shared. They were happy to share with each other. They were going to be happy to share whether they liked it or not.
The boys were playing in the living room when Dewey started crying out. "Dewey, what's going on buddy", Daphne said picking Dewey up. She held him close and felt his forehead. He was a little warm. She went and felt the other two. They were all warm. "Donald", she said. "What", he said. "We need to take care of the boys,'' she said.
"What's the big idea", Donald asked. "The big idea is that the boys are sick and it's going to take both of us to get them well again", Daphne replied to her angry brother. His anger seemed to seize at her words. He couldn't stay mad when it came to the boys. Neither one of them could. They had to care for those three boys.
Donald and Daphne took care of the boys all day. Dewey was calm when he was held. Dewey eventually asleep in Daphne's arms and she was happy. She put him into his crib as he fell asleep. She was happy that he stayed asleep. She wanted all of them to get some rest. They both hoped that they would sleep for a little for a little while. They were adults and they were responsible and safe.
"Donald, the boys are all taking a nap", Daphne said closing the door to the boys' room but keeping it open ajar. "We are better parents than Della ever would be,'' Donald said. "Yeah, we were there for the boys ever since they were hatchlings,'' she said. "She doesn't know how much those boys need a mom", he said. "Yeah but that doesn't matter now,'' she said smiling.
"Donald, what are we going to do for the boys third birthday,'' she asked. "Is that coming up already", Donald asked. "Yeah, it is coming up already", she replied to her brother's stupid question. "Don't get mad at me for not paying attention,'' he said. "You don't want to start yelling, you'll wake the boys,'' she said and then there was a cry from upstairs.
She ran upstairs to calm whoever was crying. She looked into the room and saw Louie screaming. She scooped him up and took him out of the room before his screaming affected his brothers who were still sleeping peacefully. She took him to the living room and sat down in a recliner with him. His loud wails calmed into quiet whimpers as she sat down with him.
Daphne sat in the recliner and rocked Louie in her arms. He even threw up a little on the front of her shirt. He held her hand. Donald got the other two out of their cribs. They were all now sitting in the living room. The boys were all fed and given plenty of fluids. The boys were still sick but they were starting to feel better.
Huey was a little cranky and he clung to Donald while the other two clung to Daphne. The boys were tiring to take care of. They had a little bit of help from Daisy. Daisy often comes over from time to time. The boys seem to love when she comes to visit. They go completely hysterical when she walks in the door.
That night, Donald and Daphne put the boys to bed. It wasn't that hard to put them to bed. The boys were sick that day so they fell asleep pretty easy. The boys were usually a little harder to put to bed. They truly were sick. Donald and Daphne were deciding to take the boys to the doctor in the morning. They'd be happier knowing that the boys were happy and healthy.
The boys slept all night. They slept late into the next morning. The boys had to be woken up. They had to go to the doctor. The boys were still a little warm. They were going to have some help from Daisy. Daisy was nice enough to help. Daisy loved the boys. They were happy to have her around once in a while. Donald dated her since high school.
