Vegetarians

A/N This was inspired by a meme I found on Pinterest. I know it's not very realistic, but whatever, I found it funny.

"Come on Percy, it's only for a day!" Jason said, standing up from the table.

"No. No way am I doing that. I don't care if it's for a good reason," Percy replied, shaking his head.

"Come on Percy, do it for Piper! It's not going to be that bad!"

"No."

Piper looked away from the two boys. "It's okay Jason, they don't need to. It's my choice anyway."

"But we can support you! I don't want you to feel left out!" Jason replied, "Besides, Percy can eat a few salads if it means you'll be happy."

"What the heck is a salad?" Percy whined, earning a few giggles from Annabeth.

"A salad is something made from vegetables, you know, that thing you refuse to eat?" Annabeth teased, poking him in the arm, "And besides, we're halfway through the day, so you'd only need to be vegetarian for one meal. And the rest of us will be doing it too."

"Yeah! And if the supreme commander of the Argo II, Leo, the ultimate bad boy, is being a vegetarian, then you have to as well," Leo said, joining the others at the table.

 "And being a vegetarian doesn't mean you only eat vegetables, it means you don't eat meat. You can still have things like waffles and pizza, so long as they don't include meat," Hazel added.

"And from personal experience, not eating meat for one meal isn't that bad!"  Frank mentioned.

"Jeez, you're all ganging up on me today!" Percy whined, "Now I have no choice!"

Jason grinned at him from across the table.

"Is that a yes?"

"Uh, yes. But still no promises. I'll try my best."

"Trying your best is really all I can ask of you. But thanks Percy, it means a lot."

"No problem."

A/N I know this was a really dialogue heavy one, but I couldn't think of a way to add more substance. Did you like my Hamilton reference up there?
