As I walk up to the house overflowing with people I already regret this decision. I couldn't just leave Kat here without me though. I promised her I would come. What kind of friend would I be if I left her and never showed up. As I walk in I see Kat and Tara and start heading their way. Kat moves through the people and meets me.
"Hey girl!" I can tell that she is already kind of drunk.
"Hey! How have you been?" I ask because I haven't seen her in person for a while.
"Good! Down for some beer pong?" She asks with a smirk on her face.
"Sure why not!" I yell over the crowd of people.
Kat starts to run off to what I assume is beer pong but someone catches my eye. He is just standing there playing in his phone. A girl is hanging off his arm but he's not talking to her. To be honest she was talking to herself at that point. "Y/n come on!" Kat says running up to me and pulling my arm. She guides me to a group of friends. One of them stands out to me. He obviously the funny one of the group. "Hey I'm Jake." He says. "Nice to meet you Jake." I say smiling. "Hey Jake I'm gonna beat you in beer pong!" Kat yells running over to the beer pong table. "Yeah right! I beat you every time!" Jake says running after Kat.
I laugh at them then follow. When I get to where they are at Kat is waiting for me.
"Girl you on my team!" She says waving me over.
I laugh then walk over to her side of the table. Jake looks ready and in the zone.
"You ready to beat Jake's but?" Kat asks me.
"Yeah right!" Jake scoffs.
I just giggle then the game begins. We didn't win like Jake said. I still had fun though. "Y/n come here! I have someone I want you to meet!" Kat says dragging me off with her.
