I tried to catch up with her, but she was fast. She looked like a kid in a candy store. When I had finally caught up to her, she was looking into the glass of a room that had fluorescent green and blue in jars that were shaking. Through the glass, I could see my reflection, my frizzy black hair was tied back into a messy bun, and my bright green eyes were tired and sleep needing. I was wearing a lab coat over a plain black shirt.

I lead the doctor to a room, it had scientists inside, and multiple people were rushing around, holding chemicals that made my nose shrivel. A big man with hair close to his scalp noticed I had entered, and came over to where I was, "doctor." He said In a deep voice. "Sir," I replied I got doctor Ambercrombie, you said you believed her experience would be beneficial?" "Ah, yes," he said, and lead Ambercrombie to the corner, I followed, as he explained what his plan was. Every time he said what some of his discoveries were, and with each one he added, it felt like an even bigger lie.

"So do you think you could help?" He asked, his voice soft and caring, "Yes sir!" She replied, as enthusiastic as her hurt jaw could manage. I had the feeling something was going to happen, and I wasn't going to like it.
