Vivian would sit at her window waiting, waiting for the clouds to take over the sky, for drops to start falling. She used to say, a little girl skipped into her back garden, happy, almost as if the little girl wanted to play with Vivian. Vivian never dared to go with the girl. But she watched her dance in the rain. The little girl had long her, no particular colour, a wide, happy smile and finally a beautiful dress not long, nor short no specific colour. But Vivian knew it was beautiful. Vivian represented this little girl as the word, happiness, itself. That's why she envied her, the Rain Girl's peace and tranquillity. If only she could be like her, she would wonder.
