the sky painted a dark hue, but was complimented by
the bright moon and stars. these stars were often used as maps
to indicate ones direction those whom used this techniques are
wanderers, seafarer's and cartographer's and many others.

the vivid night sky made it easy to navigate using celestial
bodies. She packed a small travelling bag filled with only a few
necessities, such as food for the night and a few pieces of paper
and a pen to write a little bit of poetry or draw. she then left.

a village called dongyu was home to Lou yi the last
geomancer. she had set off to the mountains to search for the
dragon's reincarnation. Her lavender locks flowed with the
wind, as she headed towards the misty mountains south.

she traversed this path many times, everyday to look for
her master. sometimes it would take months for her to return to
dongyu, because of her ambition. she did not take her respon
sibility lightly. Lou yi promised her father and she wanted to do
this. not only for her father but on her own free will.

she was to visit every mountain each month but tonight, she
was to tour dongyu's local mountain range. the stars had led her
to visit the area, she would not waste her time to go hiking. she
already squandered most of it by writing, reading and training.

the stars drifted slowly as time went by, and Lou yi had to
arrive at the mountain by midnight. during that hour if the star
of opportunity were to settle at the peak of the mountain, it is
said that the dragon may be at the very mountain.

armed with this information she hurried to the peak, but
however the mountain earned it's name for a reason. the night
may have been clear before she had arrived at the base, as
of now she was under a sea of mist. "I will reach the summit."

Her heart palpitated within her ribs, she had not stopped
running since she fled away from to retreat to her destination.
her lungs were ready to burst, only to stop as the mountain she
was on, was merely an easy access to her final destination.

the trees and the loamy soil beneath her made it difficult
to run and even harder to walk, for she would sink in it slowly.
the winter was coming afterall and this misty area would be
the first of all dongyu to experience being coated in white
                                                                               blankets of snow.

she decided that if running would prove to be difficult and
walking be worse, she leaped to the trees and there she began
to jump from tree to tree. she learned to do this by observing
the heroes of Iga, Hanabi, kagura and hayabusa.

after jumping from tree to tree and fighting gravity
whenever she encountered a slope, she finally saw a clearing.
jumping off the tree and landing down unto the ground beneath
her, her knees hurting seeing as she's never done this before.

Lou yi breathed heavily, her chest heaving speedily as her
heart fought to calm down. it was not that she'd ran for hours,
but the fact that she was so close to meeting him and she might
not get there in time. she stood alone in the summit.

this mountain provided only an easy path to unclimable
towers of rock. she took her staff and raised it to the sky,
waving it as a yin circle appeared underneath her. "I will
bend the earth." she said as the she was teleported to the very
                                                                         top of the rocky pillars.

Lou could finally see clearly. the moon was above her, that
would mean the star would only reach it's peak tomorrow. it
was so close but yet so far, once again another failed adventure.

she clenched her fist and gritted her teeth, only to inhale
through them and exhaling deeply she looked down in defeat.
exhausted, she laid down on the stony floor. not having even
an appetite to eat, eating wouldn't resolve another failure.

she decided to stay tonight, maybe tomorrow the star will
                                                                                  finally change.

a travelling young man walked the entirety of the world,
he found beauty and warfare. he found places gifted with
abundance, peace and serenity and places so evil that light
would never pierce through their darkness.

he also trained under the great dragon and his brother baxia.
although now he was alone. just going around the world to dis-
cover himself, for some odd reason he felt that he had a certain
Identity he'd lost but never really knew of.

he found himself entering a village called dongyu, looking for
a place to turn in for the night. he felt somewhat familiar to this
place, he looked around and saw an inn. he smiled widely, his
eyes were a bit dreary seeing as he was exhausted from walking.

he then went inside, holding his rucksack full of food and a
bunch of gifts from baxia. he was the only out of the oriental
warriors who truly did care for him, he had no idea as to why
the others distastes him. baxia would always protect him.

he didn't wanna seem weak so he pushed him away and
now here he was, holding a bunch of trinkets baxia had given
him. "maybe I should go back soon." he said softly, looking out
to the southern misty mountain. "after I climb that mountain
tomorrow." he grinned and went inside the inn.

he purchased a room and slowly made his way upstairs.
yawning as he arrived to his temporary sleeping chamber.
he then stretched and threw his stuff on the floor except for
baxia's knickknacks. he then laid down on the comfy cushion.

his eyelids drooping as he held a pillow to his head, he slowly
but surely drifted off to sleep. a few hours into rem sleep, he
had a dream about meeting a young woman, her lavender
locks and purple eyes captivated him. he then saw...

himself, in pain but... he was enjoying it. the oriental warriors
fighting to get through, but were frozen in place by the woman.
before he heard someone mutter. "Black dragon."
