The sun shines brightly through the windows of the cabin. Oliver sits up sleepily and looks around, only to find no one else in the cabin. They're just.. gone. "Hello?" he says quietly. "Sara?"
"You ask for Sara Lin. Why is this?"
Oliver yelps and whirls around. A figure steps out of the shadow in the corner, her short navy-colored hair accented by an interesting hat and large bow. He notices the makeup and hoop earrings, quickly getting creeped out. It occurs to him that this is just what Cordelia described. "Lulu..?"
She nods once. "I am here to speak to you. Your friends have simply gone off to play a game of volleyball before breakfast. I was instructed to wait until you had awoken and tell you this. Now I have. But first, I wish to talk."
"T-talk? Talk about w-what?" Oliver swallows hard. Suddenly this large cabin feel's very claustrophobic. He could jump out the window, if only he could get to it fast enough. Does this chic have a weapon? Her demeanor is.. frightening to say the least.
She gestures for him to climb down, so he does. Carefully. "Sara Lin. I wish to speak about Sara Lin."
"Sara?" the boy squeaks. Oh geez. What's going on? This is the girl who sent the note on the bus, she must think she knows something.
"Yes, Sara. Tell me about her."
He eyes Lulu suspiciously. "You've known her longer than I have. I guarantee it. What do you want?"
"I want to know when you are going to tell her how you feel. When you are going to go for it?" She replies calmly.
"W-what?!" Oliver feels his face heat up. "Listen, I don't know who you think you are, but you're freaking me out. I don't feel anything for Sara.. I- I just don't."
She clicks her tongue. "You don't, or you can't? I understand Sara Lin is in love with Joe. Does that not bother you?"
The boy steps backwards and sits on one of the beds. His heart seems to pinch. Of course it bothers him. Every time she looks his brothers way it bothers him. But Sara's happy! She's excited every day to be around him. Oliver frowns angrily. "You don't know what you're saying, alright? How would you even know what I'm feeling?"
"It's simple really," Lulu smiles. "I'm an expert at reading body language. For you, it's even easier I'm afraid. Every time you look at Sara Lin you smile slightly and your pupils dilate around 50% larger than that of an average boy. Aka, you're terribly obvious."
He crosses his arms. "I am not!"
She smirks as though she's made a huge accomplishment. "So you admit it."
Oliver's face turns bright red. "No!" he quickly stands up and grabs his glasses, shoving them on his face before rushing out the door. "Stupid stupid stupid. She has no idea what she's talking about."
"Oliver!" he looks up to see Sara running over from across the way. He sighs with irritation. There's no time for this! He can't deal with how overwhelmed he feels right now, and Sara is the source of all of it. Maybe he can get rid of her quickly enough. "Hey! You woke up!" she smiles, her hair pulled back in a flattering ponytail.
This alone makes him want to melt. But he steels himself and avoids her eyes. "Yeah."
Sara adjusts her hair and checks her watch. "You wanna come play a game with us? We probably have time for one more. I don't know if sports are your thing, but I thought we could still play something. Maybe I could teach you-"
"No. Just- just leave me alone Sara." He turns away from her and starts to walk.
"What? Hey, what's wrong?" she hurries after him, her smaller legs trying to keep up.
