Chapter 3

Chapter 3:

I turned my whole body around, terrified. When i saw who was behind me i let out a little yelp.

"BOO."

It was Mackenzie.

"You scared the life out me! I yelled.

"Thats why i did it, your always fun to scare." 

I made a pout.

"just don't be surprized when you dont get a present on wednesday."

OH NO

I forgot it was my birthday on wednesday. Whatever. I don't even like birthdays. It's not like im going to do anything. I didn't do anything for it last year, or any other year.

I followed Mackenzie into her car and we drove to the skating rink. I couldnt skate for my life, but i always give it a try, and always fail. Oh well, today's a new day!

As i opened the local skate rinks door, i relized i forgot my phone in Makenzies car when i put it away after i got that text rom her that scared the life out of me.

"Hey, Mackenzie, go on without me ill meet you there, i fort my phone in your car can i have the keys?" I say, as she walkes in and throws her keys at me.

"Here you go Gracie, just don't crash my car." she responded. 

"Gee, i hope i don't, im doing somethin so dangerous as opening it, oh and by the way, thanks for almost poking my eye out ith your keys."

The last thing i heard before i walked t was Mackenzie laughing. A small grin went on my face as i unlocked her car.

I felt that feeling as if someone was watching me again, so i scurried back, not wanting to look behind me.

I stumbled into the blue rink with a food stand in the back, the rink on the left, and the place where you get your skatesto rent on the right.

I payd, and thenI took three steps into the rink before i tripped, THANK YOU CLUMSINESS, for kicking in now!! I thought sarcastically.

I got up and looked at how i had tripped, lucky them! (Again sarcassam.)

He had light brown hair, and piercing blue eyes. 

He was CUTE!!!

"Sorry" I say, blushing.

"No, it's fine, that was my fault anyway, I wasn't paying attention, what's your name?" he asked

"My name is.....uhhhh."

What the hell was my name!?!?!?

"Forgot your name?"

"Uh..." Then i snapped back onto earth

"Grace Adams." I replied.

"Ahh...cool"

*AKWARD SLIENCE*

"Ohhh....my name is Nick." He smirked.

I blushed then turn away. I saw Mackenzie, flirting with some guy. 

"Hey, i probably have to go, i have to go back to my friend." 

"Oh, you came with your friend?"

"Yeah, she's over there" I pointed to Mackenzie, seeing she was still struggling with her shoelaces of the skates.

"Ahhh." he said chuckling. 

"Right next to my friend, i came with."

"Ohh..." My blush deepened.
