Illumi x Reader : Our fate full beginning

Chapter 3

(A/N) I hope everyone is doing well with the pandemic and everything. I'm off of school for the next 4 days cause of teachers conferences so hopefully I can update to like chapter 6 or something. Stay safe everyone :)

     My friend ? He wants to be friends ? There must be a reason, right?

"My friend?" You asked curiously.

"Yes, I don't have any friends and since you have special healing powers in your blood I can use that as an excuse for my parents to adopt you."

"Adopt me?"

"Yes, now can you stop asking so many questions?"

"R-right, sorry."

"It's fine now hop on my back." Illumi coldly commanded as he lifted you to your feet.

You carefully climed on his back as to not make your injuries worse. He slowly started walking as you clung to him.

"It's probably going to be a while before we arrive so you should probably rest, I'll try to make the trip as smooth as possible."

You nodded in response as your eyes slowly drooped. As you were dozing off to sleep a thought occured, " Why was Illumi out here in the first place?" But you decided to brush it off and rest just like he told you too.

After a couple hours of a very pleasant nap you were shook awake by what you presumed was Illumi. You lifted your eyelids to see the also very young Illumi staring at you while his neck was craned seeing as you were still on his back.

"Can you walk?" Illumi questioned.

"I think I can." you said groggily. He carefully set you on the ground but as soon as you put pressure on your damaged ankle you fell back landing on your butt. You started to tear up just like you have been doing for the past couple of weeks. Illumi walked around you as he grabbed your arm and pulled your left shoulder onto his right helping you walk to a small door that stood to the right of a huge gate.

"Wow that's huge." You said looking up at the humongous metal doors.

"I would usually use that door to get in but I'm helping you so we'll use the intruder door."

"That hunk of metal is a door? And there's an intruder door? Why can't you have a normal door?"

"I'll tell you once you've rested some more and we've gotten you healed up."

"Alright, but this is a huge mountain." you said looking around" where is your house at?

"Well the house is at the very top but we own the whole mountain."

"YOU OWN THE WHOLE MOUNTAIN?!"

"Yes, is that a problem?"

"No, just that your family is crazy rich."

"Being an assassin comes with a territory."

Just as you were about to ask what territory meant, being as you were still four , you arrived at the so called "intruder door." Illumi knocked on the door and a man probably in his 40's was the one on the other side.

"Oh my Illumi, who is this and why is she so injured?" The old man gestured for them to walk inside a small cabin and sit down.

"So Illumi what happened?" The old man said while bringing out his first aid kit.

"This is (Y/N) , she is a part of the heavens clan and after they were attacked she ran away into the forest ,where I found her on the brink of death."

"Well that explains the wings, but how old is she?"

"I'm four." You said holding up 4 fingers to the old man.

"Only two years younger than you Illumi." He nodded in response. The old man wrapped you in a blanket after wrapping dome bandages around your arms and legs.

"You must be hungry, take this." He handed you a Peanut butter jelly sandwich that he had in his lunch box. As you started eating he asked you some questions.

"So you're (Y/N) ?" Yup
"And your four years old?" Mhm
"Do you know who attacked your clan?" You froze once again. You swallowed the last bit of your sandwich as you tried to find the right words to answer his question.

"Not really all I know is that there were 13 people all using some weird power and that they wanted my clans wings for money."

"I see so now your on your own?" The memories flooded back racing in your mind once more. All you wished for is that you could go back. You gave a small" yea " and that was it.

"I'm tired, can I sleep" you asked while giving a yawn afterwards.

Just as the old man was about to give his answer Illumi chimed in with his opinion. "It would be best if we head to the house and introduced you to my parents." Illumi walked towards you and picked you up as he headed for the door. Illumi , the old man and you walked out. I'll go tell Mike to leave you guys alone. He walked off.

"Hey Illumi , who's Mike ?"

"He's our guard dog."

"I had a dog once."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah he was a chow chow , I named him scruffy but he died 1 year ago."

"Sorry to hear that."

"No you don't need to be sorry, I'm more of a cat person anyway."

"Did you have a cat?"

"No, mommy doesn't like cats she thinks they're bad luck. But mommy said daddy liked cats and that's another reason to hate cats."

"Why would your dad liking cats be bad?"

" I've never met my actual dad but mommy married another man that looks nothing like me so that's how I know."

"Oh so you're parents split up?"

"Yeah but that was a while ago."

Illumi nodded as he continued up the mountain all while you were being very talkative. Illumi didn't show it but he was glad you agreed to be his one and only friend forever.
